'Good location. But when it rains, outside the hotel kind of stinks.
Hotel itself, if very clean, rooms are spacious and have all required things. Beds are great, washrooms and bedrooms are super clean and have great attention to detail.
Staff is fantastic. If you need something, it's just a call away and they respond right away.
The massage center is absolutely fantastic. Great way to relax '

'Lovely hotel just outside town and in a great location convenient for an early morning trip to Tigers Nest. Surrounding area is lovely. Beautiful mountains.
Hotel has a very pretty garden to sit in and to relax after your climb to the monastery!
Staff are charming. Room that we had was large, clean. Good bathroom and shower. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Restaurant good. Local, Indian, Chinese food and French fries which were great.
Would certainly recommend!! '

'Central in Paro.Paro is smaller than Thimbu and acording my oppinion more worth visiting. Depending of time of visit you may need varm clouth because nighttime it can be below 0 degrees celsius.
It is amzing there still is a people not destroid by civilisation. They are genuin friendly and you will not see "white trash" in Bhutan. The fee 100 USD per night is used for free school and healthcare for the local people.
I visited Bhutan first time 20 years ago and it is still the same-the new is...

'this resort is really a very good place to stay in Paro.
the staff is very good and tries to help you for everything.
although cottages are not very spacious but the location is awesome.
river Paro is flowing just behind the cottages and that makes it lovely place for stay.
besides this the green area in resort is quite large and maintained ..
Enjoy stay here....

'A unique setting in the mountains with wonderful views. The deluxe rooms offered a lot of privacy. Excellent service. Since the resort is out of town, the best place for dinners is at their expensive hotel restaurant.'

'The hotel is located in a remote area with little or no civilisation nearby. Their charges are for a 5 star resort but the service is not upto those standards.
The breakfast was included but had the bare minimums. Coffee (Latte) was being charged for. Absolutely disappointed with the hotel behaviour and the breakfast.
Lastly, since there was no nearby places to go out and eat, the hotel is absolutely ripping people off on food. Each meal for two can easily go into INR 5000.00 with the food...

'This hotel is located in a very peaceful location, away from the downtown shops and market. The taktsang monastery is visible from the hotel, the hotel is surrounded by hills and beautiful scenery. I really enjoyed my stay here.'

'Lovely small hotel. The staff are so so attentive and really made sure every comfort was met. I enjoyed learning about Bhutan (culture, history, current affairs) just from long chats with them while waiting for dinner. The food was also really good.'

'The property was very conveniently located to downtown Paro and close to the shops and restaurants. The stay was not very comfortable: 1) there was a bad smell from the bed 2) the bathroom was very basic 3) I could not sleep because the walls are not sound-proof (I kept hearing people walking around at 3 and 4am). The one thing was the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. I also could not pay with a credit card here. Make sure to pay in advance on Expedia.'

Staff were so clam and fullfilled our every demand. Service was very flexible. Realy had a great stay.

'Friendly staff who were helpful. Big room with good heater. Difficult to find entrance to hotel. Water leaked from two places onto bathroom floor. 3 mornings in a row-- no water! No decorations-- very basic. Won't stay again.'

'We only stayed for one night, the lodge was newly renovated, very beautiful, but the facilities were incomplete. The room was cold and no hairdryer, but the manager told me that they were working on it. The manager from India was excellent, so was the staff. She woke up early to bid farewell and helped me with luggage, which I appreciated. '

'One of the best hotels in Paro / Bhutan. The tent are very nice, clean and comfortable. The food is excellent. The spa was excellent. Great service over all … beautiful property.
Only one suggestion: they should get the road leading to the hotel repaired.'

'Everything in the hotel was excellent. Got personalised hospitality experience from the owner of the property. Every need was taken care of and flexibility in timings for meals was greatly appreciated. No shortcomings in services at all. Never felt we were staying in a commercial hotel, felt as if we were staying at our own home. Will definitely stay here whenever we visit again and strongly recommend to all friends.'
