'What a lovely lodging to use as our base for a London visit ! In a quiet and charming neighborhood near the end of the District line, just a 7 minute walk from the station, with a nice old pub nearby and good restaurants. 'Our family of seven stayed here for 2 days. The location is excellent. Communication with the host is fantastic. She is responsive and accommodating. Thank you, Antonia. I would comment that the photos you see in the listing are very edited for contrast. The accommodations are very basic. The suite is divided into five private rooms, each with their own lock and key. "The way my friends/customers were treated at check in by this hotel is just criminal. AND the very worst thing is that this Marriott Regents Park plays this trick on many customers. The reservation had been made and payment was to be made at the hotel. After a stressful journey, the family arrived at the hotel. Check in and rested briefly in the room, before they were to see London for the first time. However, no key before payment was in order. Fine, however, their bank cards would not work, the receptionist informed them. "You guys should just contact your bank" They did this and their bank assured them that everything was fine with the credit and debit cards and that no payment had been attempted from a Marriott in the UK. Strange. The receptionist then forced them to withdraw money from the ATM in the lobby, which, due to a very bad exchange rate, made them pay €200 more for 3 hotel nights than stated on the booking confirmation. And they pull this trick on as many guests as possible. Without any excuse or compensation. So think carefully before booking this hotel! And if you do, don't be fooled. Room ok, breakfast too (there is only sandwich bread and pastries, no hard rolls) furthermore enough choice "

"De ligging is erg goed. Rechtstreekse verbinding met Heathrow vanaf Paddington die 5 minuten lopen is vanaf het hotel. Ontbijt is prima en ruim genoeg keuze. Bedden waren goed maar de kamer zelf erg klein. Je kon alleen zitten op het bed. Veel kleine supermarkten waar je even wat drinken kunt kopen voor op de kamer of mee op je tocht door Londen"
