'I have stayed in all five stars in Chennai many times and Hyatt always best for comfort, staff attention and service. Special thanks to reception staff for excellent check in and ensuring quiet room as requested. Perfect sleep and great breakfast and also enjoyed spa and pool. ' Food is good and a nice pool area. Accommodation is very disappointing. We stayed in the apartment wing. Corridors are shabby with stained carpets and damaged doors. A fire door was left ajar ( using piece of cardboard) which is a safety violation. The fittings in the room were worn out and shabby. Air conditioning vents have not been cleaned for ages. Certainly not worth the Euro 300 per night. Quality more befitting a 3 star accommodation. Maybe its time the top managers start doing a walk...

On Sunday's there is special lunch buffet, where locals reserve for to be able to attend. Very friendly and helpfull staff, for me the place to stay when I'm in Chennai!!'
