Dit rookvrije huis met 2 slaapkamers en 1 badkamer is gebouwd in 2011 en is toegankelijk voor mindervaliden; 1 niveau en geen stappen! Dit huis ligt op een steenworp afstand van de rivier de Ravens Ford. Zorg ervoor dat je je hengel meeneemt voor de beste vismogelijkheden in de stad! Kajaks, kano's en buizen zijn welkom!

Er zijn 2 slaapkamers en 1 badkamer in het huis. De slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed. De tweede slaapkamer heeft een tweepersoonsbed. Satelliet-tv is voorzien in de woonkamer en slaapkamer. De badkamer is toegankelijk voor gehandicapten met een inloopdouche. De keuken heeft granieten werkbladen en is voorzien van een magnetron, broodrooster, fornuis / oven, koelkast, koffiepot en vaatwasser. Hardhouten vloeren met roestvrijstalen apparaten en wasmachine / droger. Wifi is ook beschikbaar.

Alle beddengoed en handdoeken zijn aanwezig, samen met servies, kookgerei en bestek.

House ligt op 6 mijl van Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, 1/2 mijl van Mingo Falls, en stappen van de beste vissen rond. Elanden worden vaak gezien op de rit van Cherokee naar Emily's Place. Talrijke wandel- en fietspaden in de buurt. 35 mijl naar Gatlinburg, TN.

I'm glad I had searched the property via Google Earth maps, because I knew it would look as like as far as the driveway being steep and narrow. Overall, the stay was perfect and I loved being able to wake up in the morning to hear the birds singing and the very subtle sound of the creek/river close by. The beds were comfortable and my daughter even said it was the best she had slept in a long time. If I were to add anything to the description it would be to note it is very secluded and not a touristic destination (unless someone wants to go to the casino), but it is close enough for an easy and beautiful ride to Gatlinburg. We would love to stay again!

Overall I was extremely happy about the location of the house. Well maintained and clean. Easy communication with the host. No fault to them if you are unfamiliar with the area, you definitely need a GPS with offline maps. I would still refer this to anyone I know.

Perfect Spot in Cherokee NC

Perfect sized home at the gateway to the Smokies. Basic, perfect home. Easy access. Plenty of nice towels and access to washer dryer. Love the rocking chairs outside outdoors and view of the River valley.

We were in the area for a gymnastics meet. This rental fit our needs perfectly! It was comfortable, quiet, and well stocked. We enjoyed hiking, seeing elk, and a little R&R! Great communication with the property owner and listing was as descrives.

Great property and host. My first VRBO and they had everything spelled out nicely on printed sheets at the property. Location is close to downtown Cherokee. Quite a steep hill up to property, but leaves you with a great view!

Cute cabin

The cabin was perfect for 2 people or 2 adults with 2 kids. It was in a very quiet area but very close to the beautiful little town of Cherokee. The river was right across the rode. You could definitely hear it but there was no view. Maybe in the winter there could be a view when the trees are bare. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. Jo was very responsive when we were having problems with the internet. There’s lots to do in the area.

Disappointing

You cannot see the river from this property if there are leaves on the trees. It is not “steps away”. It’s down a steep driveway, across the street and over a guardrail. The floor was dirty. I went barefoot for a little bit the first night, and the bottoms of my feet were black. The TVs are not smart TVs, so you can’t stream anything. You get basic TV with about 30 channels. The WiFi was out most of the weekend, unless you had Verizon, which had a weak signal, you couldn’t even receive text messages.

The home was well maintained. The beds were comfortable. I was able to contact the host and they replied very quickly. The home is not able to be found on Apple Maps, but google maps takes you there. The directions provided were also helpful.

Cherokee Cabin

Property owner earlier before arriving refused to give me her phone #, but she posted her # and her husbands # on their frig to call of any problems, makes no sense at all. The door on the front porch was unlocked when we arrived in the dark at 9:00 pm. Very unpleasant by all means since the other door had a combination key entry process. My son went in first to make sure no one was in the home. i sent a text to the owners # to report the problems, but her number must be a land line number. So I called her # yesterday and it went to voice mail directly and I left her a message of all the problems. She has refused to call me back because I have not heard from her. I have rented from VRBO for over 35 years and never ever had any problems with any property owners. This is the first case in over 35 years and I am not pleased with this owner, Jo Ann Ray. If VRBO wants great business and reviews then if I was the owner of VRBO I would cancel this lady's home from your listings, but this is my opinion only. I am not totally pleased with the owners response and very suspicious. I would suggest VRBO do an investigation. The home was very clean and hidden in the mountains. Price was reasonable. According to the area code on her phone # she is located in the area. We liked the home, but not pleased with the owner at all. Thanks, Ken C.
