We stayed for a night. In our studio room, the entire front of one of the cabinets was off and the door knob fell off the bathroom door. To say the least, it is very outdated. However, the staff was nice and the room and sheets were all clean

I had high expectations, since the last candlewood I stayed at was really nice overall. This was the opposite of what i was expecting. The first room we got put into wasn't bad but the microwave was broken. They moved us to another room but this one was super dirty, microwave was messed up and the heating system was broken. We were soo disappointed.

Just another generic hotel off the freeway. It was fine. Kitchen range did not work to heat a pot of water. When someone walked down the hall the floor in our room vibrated.

This is my second time staying here. I really enjoy the full size fridge, the accommodations for all the rooms, the gym and etc. This is a great location for me each time I come here.

The staff was nice but the room was not. There was an overwhelming musty smell because the carpet was wet in front of the air conditioner and there was a cockroach on the wall. Bed was clean and comfy.

My stay with Candlewood Suites was very unpleasant. I was not able to relax or rest for the drive I had ahead. Even though I was able to checkin at 2pm instead of 4pm, they didn’t have the room I paid for nor did they offer a reduction in rate. When I entered my room, the air conditioner had been turned off completely which made it extremely humid in the room. The room also smelled very strongly of fish or seafood. Very nauseating. Because of how tired I was, I used the Lysol and Clorox wipes I always carry to mask the smell. Luckily for me I brought those because the cleanliness was terrible. I believe the only thing that was clean was the bedding and the even then top comforter smelled bad. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and had urine all over the back of the toilet. There was trash under the reclining chair as well, so you could tell the room wasn’t throughly cleaned. On top of all of this, our neighbors beside us had children who screamed and yelled until around 1am. The neighbors above us thumped on the floor all night, waking me up every hour. You’re probably asking why I never complained? Well some folks aren’t confrontational… however I do feel it’s important to write this review and warn those who may consider staying here. I paid $210 for one night. At that price, the experience should have been much better.

The customer service was outstanding. All of them were competent, welcoming, and accommodating to my needs. They even loaned me an umbrella when it was raining, unlike other hotels in which I have stayed.

Home away from home
I’ve stayed there before and I have to say that it’s very quiet and super clean. You can smell the freshness in the hallway. They’ve done some much needed upgrades since my last stay. The front desk people were very nice and courteous. That will be my return to hotel for all future stays. Now if they can get a pool.

I made the reservation on November 24, 2022, @ 8:45 pm and got confirmation from Expedia @ 8:57 pm. Went to Candlewood to register for my room. An interior door was locked, a young girl come to the door to open the automatic doors. As we walked toward registration I told her I had a reservation. She proceeded to punch in a code to get behind the desk to look. Could not find it. I told her I just made it through expedia. She couldn't have happen because they are all booked up. Experia shouldn't have accepted the reservation. I would have to go somewhere else. Frustrated, I did go to Hampton on 511 USAA Drive 4 minutes away. Booking .com made the reservation and confirm the reservation when I arrive at about 10:00 or so greeted respectively as if they were waiting for me all night. Very warm reception. And not only that Candlewood put me as a no show. I'm currently requesting a refund from them and Capital Onemy credit card company. I ask them to check the security cameras between 8:45 and 10:00 pm. Haven't heard back as of yet Please help to end this matter.

It was a great stay and I would definitely stay again. Only inconvenient thing was a lack of an ice machine. I understand the extended stay logic of you have a fridge and you can make you own but if you check in late, it's tomorrow before you can freeze water to have ice in your room.
