The Timbery: This is a brand new, fully handmade, timber frame "tiny" house. The house is nestled in the forest, accessible by foot. With 17 vertical ft. of floor to ceiling windows, this property represents a unique experience to fully immerse yourself into nature. It is like lying down on the forest floor and looking out the front of your tent. Except instead of wet sleeping bags and dirty hair, you enjoy a queen sized bed, in home theater, full kitchen and 71in soaking tub.

Whatever you have come to Vermont to do, this place has it for you: the property is located less than 25 minutes from 5 major ski resorts with Magic mountain at only 5 minutes away. This is a healing place that serves a tired skier or a stressed professional who wants a new work venue. It is 25 minutes from Manchester which boasts incredible fine dining, spas and outlet stores. Within 20 minutes, you will find maple sugar houses, breweries, mountain biking parks, cross country skiing venues, zipline adventure parks, apple orchards and much more.

The house is nestled into the dense forest approximately 400ft from the driveway and is only accessible by foot. As much as this is a house, it is an experience. It is located in quintessential VT, where 36in of snow can very easily fall in the night during winter months, mud season is indeed a mud bath and fall brings heaps of falling leaves. What ever the season, you are one with nature here. In the event of large snow storms, it can and often does take our snow removal team up to 3 days to get our property done. There are snow shoes at the trail head for snow storms. They are yours to use if you wish. If you wear designer shoes to the house between April and July, you will not recognize them anymore. In short, the trail is only about a football field long, and that can be a (breathtaking) 5 minute walk in 3 feet of fresh powder, but keep this in mind that you don't go straight from the car door to the front door. Further, this is one of two properties on the estate. Both properties are rented, but this is a very private house. An acre of dense forrest separate the houses, and the Timbery has a private entrance and path. In the event your car cannot make it up the private driveway, it is acceptable for you to park in the "apple orchard" and the bottom of the driveway. We ask that you respect the privacy of any guests that may be renting the other cabin.

Other things to note
The owner spent a year in the woods crafting this unique experience to share with guests. This is his pride and joy. Almost every single thing in this space from the walls to the furniture were hand-made , and while it is certainly not "a museum" we have placed emphasis here to ensure that the property is treated with utmost respect. There is zero tolerance policy for smoking, visitors/parties of more than 3 guests (without express permission,) fires outside of/larger the fire container, infringement upon other guests privacy, and pets (without express permission.) Any violation of these rules will be handled to the strictest extent possible.
