Negatief: Staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
The room was run down and it was incredibly loud at night to the point that we couldn’t sleep because of drunk people yelling all night and motorbikes zipping down the street. But what really made us mad was the false advertising of the “daybeds” (lounge chairs” being reserved for hotel guests. They were absolutely NOT. We had to argue to get 2 chairs (they said no more were available and that had to wait for the cruise ship tourists us to leave to get some). Meanwhile, there was a whole stack of chairs available, they just didn’t want to set them up for us. We had to argue with them to get them and finally they gave us 2 half busted chairs. We would never return to this place or to Mahahual in general. We only went there for diving and found that the whole town is a total trash filled, overpriced bust. There are a million better places in Mexico, avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy being ripped off and surrounded by a bunch of uncultured cruisers.
