Wonderful hotel
We loved this hotel. It was large and spacious, unlike lots of European hotels. It was classy and reflected the grandness of the 1920's which made it fun, Will definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Soggiorno relax!
Bellissima sorpresa il pernottamento in questo hotel, pensavamo a qualcosa in vecchio stile un po datato invece l'arredamento è elegante ed ha un suo fascino particolare con mobili antichi ben valorizzati. Stanza molto grande luminosa con bagno moderno ristrutturato, c è il frigo ed un bollitore per tisane.Tutto molto pulito il personale gentile. Colazione ottima e varia. Ci torneremo, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

I expected more
The place is nice, old, but this makes it special. We stayed there in December, so in the room/restaurant was a bit cold. The staff was friendly. The oly thing I didn`t like was the restaurant: cold, no menu, they just said what they have...was nothing vegetarian, so they made me pasta with some tomatoes, was not delicious. But maybe my expectations are high for a 4 star hotel....

Sehr schönes Zimmer, modernes Badezimmer alles sehr sauber. Leider keinen Balkon im Historischen Teil. Sehr wenige Restaurant in der nahen Umgebung.

Mi è stata data una camera schifosa degna di un albergo di quattro soldi. Che vergogna! Tanta scena appena arrivi e poi in camera (1°piano) la desolazione assoluta.

Da un quattro stelle superior mi aspettavo molto di più. Dentro è tutto molto vecchio, ma guardandomi intorno forse è proprio tutta Chianciano con gli hotel ridotta in quel modo. La pulizia ha lasciato un po’ a desiderare con capelli qua e là, mi aspettavo più attenzione. In compenso la colazione è buonissima.

Klassischer Charme modern eingerichtet
Äusserst gepflegtes Hotel aus der Goldenen Zeit der Thermen-Romantik. Der Pool auf der Dachterrasse bietet herrliche Abkühlung. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit, telefoniert überall hin, wo ich mein Wallet mit allen Kreditkarten möglicherweise verloren hatte. Das Besitzer-Ehepaar setzte alles daran, dass wir uns wohl fühlten. Das Frühstück war eher bescheiden, wenig Auswahl, keine Früchte.

I imagine this place was once very Grand indeed, now sadly it's just old and in need of work. We were virtually the only guests there so I expected they would just ask what we would like for breakfast but they just put out a few things and no hot food at all so disappointing really. Rooftop view is great. The room was small and dingy. Friendly staff.

Smelly room ruins an otherwise good experience
Price was fair, breakfast was basic but good, staff was friendly, location is pretty good for food, shops, etc. The room was large and comfortable, but smelled like urine... After the first night we told them that the toilets smelled like urine, they apologized and sent someone to clean it. Unfortunately, a bit after their cleaning it started to smell again, and the smell seeped to the room itself. Was quite disgusting after a while.

We found a half drunken bottle of water in our fridge with a dirty napkin. Our bed had stains in the sheets. The wifi did not work the first day (then when it did, it was only in the lobby). They also denied us an early departure despite the uncomfortable circumstances because it was "high season". The place is in no way a 4 star, take your money elsewhere.

Sembrava di essere su una scena del Titanic. Hotel molto vecchio ma comunque abbastanza curato. Sulle camere direi che i materassi andrebbero cambiati in quanto non sono comodi; gli armadi odoravano di vecchio e di chiuso. Staff attento e cordiale. Colazione piacevole e abbondante. Va bene per soggiorni di pochi giorni.

L'hotel non nuovo ma molto elegante ha personale molto disponibile e cordiale; ci hanno fatto tenere la camera fino alle 16.00 senza nessun problema. Costo contenuto e location molto gradevole!!

Ehrwürdiges Grandhotel in toller Lage
... zu unserem Aufenthalt nur leider viel Schnäppchen-Busreisende mit nicht gerade dem Hotel entsprechendem Auftritt und Verhalten, wie z.B. zum Frühstück mit kurzen Hosen und Muskelshirt erscheinen und die Marmelade mit dem Messer und den Arm aufstützend zum Munde führen und Kaffee aus der Tasse schlürfen, usw....! Der sensationell günstige Übernachtungspreis lockt eher den Gast, dem der Anspruch des Hauses nicht entspricht und selbigem auch nicht gerecht werden kann. Wir waren schlichtweg enttäuscht von den Gästen...aber nicht vom Hotel! U. u. MK.

酒店的装饰品非常有历史感，很漂亮，可以说酒店就是一个艺术馆。房间略有老旧，但是比较干净，服务人员和前台都非常热情。位置非常好，离各个温泉都非常近。

Hotel pulito, Il personale è eccellente, colazione abbondante con camerieri sempre disponibili. Le camere sono un po datate ma pulitissime. La doccia è il vero dramma!!! il tubo flessibile è troppo corto e per lavarsi bisogna sedersi nella vasca.
