I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that you firstly booked for a Premier Room with king bed. Anyway, you requested for 2 single beds upon your arrival. Therefore, our staffs offered you moving to Grand Deluxe Room instead so that we can fulfill your request. Additionally, our staffs had rechecked hot water in your room recently, it still work properly. We recommend you that you should contact our staffs immediately once you found any problem during your stay so that we can recheck and fix it at the time. May I take this opportunity to let you know that all feedback is gratefully received since it enables us to be attentive and sensitive to all the needs of our guests and to continuously enhance our legendary standards of service. Keurig centraal gelegen hotel in rustige straat
Er zijn 4 De Chai hotels in de stad. De Colonial is een prima middenklasse met goede service en uitstekend personeel. Met 5 personen hadden we 2 ruime kamers gescheiden door de badkamer. We misten wel een gezamenlijke zitruimte. De bedden waren goed en in het hotel is het rustig. Goed ontbijt en prima roomservice.

The window is way too dirty and was a big turn-off. The hotel room had too many mosquitoes and had to buy a repellent for the room; I still got so many bites over the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant food was good. The location worked out great easy walking distance to everything. Or super easy to catch a grab. We left from here to a 5 star hotel in Phuket and prefer this one instead. They are doing a great job and would recommend staying here.

그랜드 디럭스룸에 3명이 묵었었는데 킹사이즈 침대 발치에 싱글 침대 하나를 붙여줬어요. 이 호텔을 선택했던 이유가 엘레베이터가 있다는 것이었고, 직접 가서 보니 엘레베이터 2대가 나란히 있어서 기다리는 시간 거의 없이 바로 탈 수 있었어요. 조식도 괜찮은 편이었고, 칫솔, 치약, 면봉, 비누, 샴푸, 바디샤워도 있었어요. 체크인 할때 레이트 체크아웃 할 수 있는지 여쭤봤는데, 예약이 차서 안된다고 해서 마지막 날 짐 맡겨두고 놀다가와서 짐 찾았어요. 1층의 화장실도 이용할 수 있었어요. 호텔 근처에 세븐일레븐, 유명 로띠 가게도 있어요. 도로에서 호텔로 들어갈때 계단이 있는데, 직원분들이 짐 옮기는 것을 다 도와주셨어요. 다들 친절해요.

Greaf location & value for money
The hotel is on a quiet street. Within 10 min walk to the Tha Phea old city and nearby night markets. We had a grand deluxe room which was big and clean. Breakfast was decent. Great value for money for a 4-star hotel in a good location.

This place is wonderful! The room was well stocked, clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was ok, more convenient than anything. The pool is refreshing and clean, as well as the bar area around it very nicely kept and relaxing. And the spa- do yourself a favor and book a treatment. It was the best. Everything was very walkable and even had the famous Roti lady stationed at the end of the alleyway (our nightly stop!) We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My room is ok but aircon broke down on my last evening. Hotel receptionist asked me to switch room to next door. When I check out on Mon 28 Aug, they claimed I took their slippers. Told the receptionist that I wore the same slipper when I switched room :). In new room, I didn't even touch any amenities etc. The new room is ok but aircon was too noisy even in 'low fan'.

Everything about our stay was great! Staff was very nice, it’s in a convenient location and it was quiet and very charming. I’d come back! I also got the best Thai massage there :)

Positief: Netheid, personeel en service en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Overall it's a good hotel for the price. I can recommend it. Clean, very good location, nice breakfast, friendly staff and good massage services. Negatives: - The wifi connection was bad, it did not work from our room on fifth floor. - The air conditioner is noisy even in the low speed. - The shower heat wasn't easy to adjust with the handle, either too cold or too hot.
