Das Resort ist auf den ersten Blick ganz schön. Das war es leider schon. Das Hotel ist Personaltechnisch total unterbesetzt. Dadurch leidet der Service, der Zustand und die Sauberkeit. Das Zimmer war an vielen Stellen dreckig und das Bad war komplett verschimmelt. Der Schimmelgeruch war in der gesamten Unterkunft verbreitet. Das geht gar nicht und hat uns fast dazu bewogen sofort wieder abzureisen. Das Frühstück ist ok. Aber maximal Asiatischer Standard. WLAN ist so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Dieses Problem würde jedoch durch einen mobilen WLAN Hotspot auf Nachfrage gelöst. Aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen hier, wurden unsere Erwartungen leider nicht getroffen.

Für Gäste, die gerne etwas abseits vom Ortszentrum übernachten und Natur und Ruhe geniessen wollen, die ideale Wahl. Die lauschige Holzterrasse der Waterfront Häuschen ist ein Hammer! Besitzer und Team sind sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit, das Anwesen in Hanglage mit dem kleinen Fluss und den Wasserfällen bezaubernd.

This was my favorite resort stay ever. The staff was amazingly helpful and sweet. Bura is a magical paradise, well suited for connecting with nature. The craftsmanship of the room was inspiring and the restuarant served us delicious thai food. We walked to the waterfall within 15 minutes, and it is still close to the airport and town. I would highly recommend the deluxe room for honeymooners.

This place is in the mountains. You will definitely connect with nature. The staff was amazing. I find the staff here to be the nicest. They will go out of their ways to help you. They left me with good memories for the rest of my life. Life changing experience and I will be back. Hanna was my translator and she was a huge help to me on my solo trip to Thailand.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The location was great to get out of the busy city. The staff was beyond friendly—they make you feel like houseguests and make sure you know how to get to all the local spots (market, temples, hot springs), and they even drive you! The grounds are immaculate. We can’t recommend Bura enough

Es war ein wunderschön angelegter Resort, etwas außerhalb der Stadt, was wir so wollten. Das Zimmer war schön geräumig und es wurden jeden Tag Seifen und Wasser aufgefüllt. Wir haben uns dor sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück hatte insgesamt 6 verschiedene Möglichkeiten zur Auswahl.

Perfect place to relax
We stopped for a couple of days to relax before the second part of our trip to Thailand. Bura resort is quiet, nestled in a beautiful garden. The staff is extremely nice and attentive and the food is great. We would go back without hesitation.

Amazing Special Place
We had read some hotel reviews before booking so we had a feeling it was a nice place to stay but we were still overwhelmed by what an amazing place The Bura is and how welcome the owners and staff make you feel. We were picked up from the airport by the owners, which we arranged by email through Hotels.com. The resort is a little out of the way but this is part of its charm and it is a beautiful tranquil location with amazing landscaping. The staff are all really friendly but not intrusive and they really went out of their way to help me with things like finding a laundry service (and taking me there and back). Taking me to buy a birthday cake for our friend, showing me the local market and booking massages for us at the nearby hot springs. They helped us with our transport arrangements, whether it was finding us a driver to take us to all the popular sites in the area or arranging taxis to pick us up from Chiang Rai Town when we visited there. They wrote directions to the Bura in Thai and gave us the resort's number in case we had any problems getting back. The accomodation is lovely and clean and very spacious. The breakfast menu is smaller than in some hotels but very tasty and makes a nice change from wasteful buffets in some hotels. The lunch and dinner menu was extensive and reasonably priced and we chose to come back and eat at the Bura most evenings because it is lovely eating out in the open air there. It really is a wonderful piece of paradise.

Best resort in Chiang Rai
This place is a steal. Only 8 villas on a beautiful lay out landscape and waterfalls. Villas are generous in size with huge bath room. Breakfast was good, choice of western or Thai and you can order more if you want. We have dinner here for 2 nights as the food was excellent and reasonable price.

Escape to Paradise.
A beautiful resort away from the city. The villas were so beautiful and large. The shower and soaker tub was a real treat. Loved sitting on my private deck overlooking ponds and waterfalls and drifting off to sleep with the sounds of the jungle. The food was delicious and the staff were all very lovely. I highly recommend this beautiful resort if you want to make an escape to paradise. One thing to note is the WiFi was terrible. Hopefully they address that.

Endroit hors du temps , magique !
Un endroit exceptionnel dans un jardin magnifique très calme et des chambres très spacieuses , un accueil et service très chaleureux . Proposition d un taxi à la journée pour les visites et organisation avec un guide de 2 jours en Rando dans la jungle (bons marcheurs) meilleur souvenir de notre sejour en Thaïlande . Seul bémol, éloigne de la ville 12 km donc pas adapté aux fêtards ou à ceux qui aiment l animation des villes .

Desde o momento que chegamos ate o final de nossa estadia fomos completamente surpreendidos. Chegamos bem tarde na noite e estavam apenas nos eaperando. É um hotel no alto da montanha, bastante rustico, o que nao significa que nao é extremamente luxuoso, pelo contrario: o quarto é enorme, inteiro amadeirado, cama confortavel e imensa, banheiro enorme com ducha maravilhlsa e banheira. O restaurante ja estava fechado quando chegamos de viagem e, mesmo assim, ofereceram pra nos algo para fazer do restaurante ou levar a gente ate a cidade para comprar algo. No dia seguinte, nos levaram ate a cidade para alugar uma scooter e no caminho ainda passaram para visitarmos o Blue Temple. Eles foram demais com a gente. No final ainda nos levaram para o aeroporto para pegar nosso voo para Phuket. Adoramos tudo!

5 stars service!
Service was impeccable. Despite being busy at times, the resort hosts really extended their hospitality by offering to pick us to areas we wanted to go, be it to the hot spring or dining place. Gave ua a free upgrade of room to make it easier for my dad with a walking stick. The place was serene, perfect for a good getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. For this kind of service, I would rate them 5 stars. They are truly deserving. Keep it up!

Excellent Stay with Hannah and friends
Fantastic, amazing place. Hannah was so helpful, a real delight. I would love to employ her in one of my establishments. The room was fantastic l would recommend it to any one. The staff were lovely and made the stay memorable. Only one thing, the breakfast did not come up to the same high standard as the accommodation, sort of Hilton with a roadside little chef shame.

What great and kind hosts! I wish people from the hotel and hospitality industry can learn from the staff of Bura Resort how they can genuinely be kind to guests even when they have been working all day long they still find it in them to be kind to their guests. This is a small resort that has been carefully designed to complement the natural beauty of the location. The only suggestion to make is that it needs better signage for customers' first arrival, as it is quite remote.

5 Tage im Paradies
Ich habe schon in vielen Hotels/Resorts übernachtet.Das Bura Resort war eines der Besten davon. Vom Check Inn bis zum Chech Out alles perfekt.Der Check Inn ging schnell, überaus freundlich und kompetent von statten. Der selbstgestaltete Bungalow mit eigenem Wasserfall und traumhafter Umgebung war die Wucht.Die Ausstattung liess nichts zu wünschen übrig.Ein sehr großer Raum mit Tisch,Sitzecke,Schreibtisch,sehr großem Doppelbett ( sehr bequem ) Flachbildschirm,Kühlschrank;W-Lan und großem Kleiderschrank.Die Decke verzierte ein riesiges Holzmonument ( beleuchtet ) Das Badezimmer war sehr groß und mit riesiger Badewanne,Dusche und Regendusche ausgestatttet.Desweiteren gab es kostenloeses Wasser in Flaschen.Das Frühstück( man konnte zwischen 4 verschienen Arten wählen ) konnte man im Aussenbereich des Restaurants wie in einem Paradies geniessen.Umrahmt von vielen Wasserfällen,saß man umrahmt von Pflanzen, Bäumen, kleinen Teichen und des Wasserfällen.Das Personal sehr sehr freundlich und kompetent.Die gesamte Anlage durchzieht ein in sich geschlossener Wasserkreislauf,an dem jeder Bungalow angeschlossen ist und jeder auch über eine Aussenterasse mit Sitzgelegenheit mit wunderbarer Aussicht verfügt.Die Ruhe,die nur von Naturgeräuschen unterbrochen wird,ist ein Traum.Das Restaurant bot bis 20:30 Uhr seine mehr als vielfältigen,sehr leckeren Speisen an. Abends waren die Wasserfälle und Pflanzen beleuchtet.Ein wahrer Traum.Dem Besitzer + seinem super freundlichen Personal besten Dank
