'Nauwelijks lauw (na 5 minuten) maar zeker nooit warm water.
Spleten en kieren in ramen en voordeur.
Koude kamer, enkel op te warmen met open haard. En als de beperkte voorraad hout verstookt is, moet je extra betalen om je kamer een klein beetje op temperatuur te krijgen.'

'Very beautiful property, but the town is a little strange. The staff was lovely, food was great. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first room was not my favorite because it’s a hut with walls. There were opening in the top which made it easy for bugs to get in. The second room was fully closed off . Beware there are a lot of bugs n the rooms that were partially open at the top. Also dogs bark in this town a lot.'

'Beautiful hotel right on the lake. Had a small issue with the staff charging more at check-in but they quickly corrected it. Other than that, the staff and location were great. The only other small suggestion would be to improve the ac in the rooms. There is ac in the rooms but it doesn’t work well.'

'Exceptional stay at Posada de Don Jose!
Posada de Don Jose is an absolutely wonderful hotel. Everything is spotless, exceptionally well cared for, and the staff are genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to stay.
A small delicious breakfast is available for a small extra charge and is well worth it. The location is okay: just a 10-minute walk to the town center and about 20 minutes to the ferry docks. Tuk-tuks pass by frequently...
