Luxe en ruim familiehuis in het centrum van Pretty Harbourside Village

Dit huis slaapt 8 comfortabel allemaal op een verdieping boven in twee kingsize slaapkamers met elk een eigen badkamer en twee slaapkamers delen een familie badkamer boven en doucheruimte beneden.

Het huis is omgeven door is een grote, afgelegen en goed onderhouden tuin met een mooi terras op het zuiden met uitzicht op een 32 ft x 16 ft verwarmd zwembad (gratis gebruik in het hoogseizoen en buiten het hoogseizoen op afspraak). Grenzend aan het terras is een aantrekkelijke pergola bedekt met wijnstokken en blauwe regen met buiten eethoek compleet met teakhouten tafel en stoelen.

Grote volledig uitgeruste keuken / eetkamer (24ft x 16ft) inclusief 7-pits fornuis met dubbele oven, Miele vaatwasser, Amerikaanse koelkast met vriesvak, magnetron, eiken eettafel met 8 lederen gestoffeerde stoelen en uitgebreid assortiment keukengerei, bestek, servies en glaswerk .

Grote familie zit / media kamer (22ft X 13ft) met uitgebreide en comfortabele stoffering twee grote banken, 50 inch tv, surround sound, CD / DVD-speler (plus verzameling dvd's), Apple TV inclusief Netflix, iPhone / iPod-dock etc.

Woonkamer (16ft x 13 ft) met open haard, 2 banken, bureau, tv en dvd-speler.

Ook op de begane grond zijn twee toiletten (een met douche) en een bijkeuken met Miele wasmachine, droger, kleding airer, jas kast en schoenenkast.

Het huis ligt op 300 meter van de haven van Chichester en de zeilclub van Itchenor, en op slechts vijf kilometer van het populaire strand West Wittering en East Head (National Trust). Er zijn prachtige landelijke wandelingen en fietstochten in de buurt en de historische stad Chichester ligt op ongeveer 11 km afstand met zijn beroemde theater en kathedraal. Chichester is geweldig voor kinderen met attracties, waaronder een multiplexbioscoop, een bowlingbaan en veel eetfavorieten, waaronder Pizza Express, Wagamama, Wahaca, Strada en Frankie en Bennys.
Net ten noorden van Chichester liggen de South Downs en Goodwood met zijn racebaan, golf en verschillende culturele festivals. Verschillende golfclubs, waaronder die in Goodwood en Hunston, bevinden zich in de directe omgeving.
Ten westen van Chichester ligt Portsmouth met zijn beroemde historische scheepswerf met Mary Rose en HMS Victory.

"This house was absolutely fabulous, even in the winter and without the pool open. It truly felt like a 'home away from home' for three generations of our family gathering for Christmas. We love to cook, bake, and eat together, and this property was perfect for it. The festive touches, like the Christmas tree, holly on the picture frames, fresh flowers, and bubbly, made us feel incredibly welcome.While the kitchen is always the heart of the home, we spent a lot of time in the back lounge enjoying the sound system, playing games, and tackling crosswords together. It takes a special place to get three generations to relax in the same room so comfortably.The bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. The wide, easy stairs were a huge plus for the older generation, and having great laundry facilities was a lifesaver since we had been traveling for two weeks prior.The location is fantastic. It’s a quick walk to a friendly pub with good food, or you can explore the many paths around the Harbour. We were even welcomed into the beautiful St Nicholas Church to hang a bauble on the tree! We had a great time exploring West Wittering, Dell Quay, Chichester Harbour, Hayling Island, East Wittering, Selsey, and Chichester Town.The only slight improvement would be adding a WiFi extender upstairs, as the signal was a bit weak in the room on the north side. Otherwise, a perfect stay!"

We booked this property for a family celebration. It is located in a very pleasant location close to Chichester Harbour. We had a lovely Sunday lunch in the local pub and a good breakfast in the harbour cafe.The house and garden are beautiful, all the bedrooms are well sized and all have en suite bathrooms except one which has its own, just not en suite. The kitchen is very well appointed and we enjoyed cooking in it. The heated pool was the star attraction for us. Getting to splash around every day was lots of fun. I would definitely return and recommend a stay here.

The best VRBO we have ever experienced!

The property is truly wonderful, in outstanding condition with comfy beds, excellent in suite baths in 3 of the 4 large bedrooms and the 4th is a short distance and large with a tub and shower. Large well stocked kitchen with two large adjacent living areas, great location near the water with a classic wonderful pub a couple hundred feet away. The neighborhood is very quite with almost no traffic. The yard is spectacular with a lovely pool (which we did not use due to the chilly rainy weather). Wonderful paths for walks along the waterfront and into the surrounding area. Chicester is only 15 minutes away so grocery shopping is easy. Many nice restaurants nearby. The best part of the home is the superb communication with the owners. They were very detailed in their instructions, immediately responsive to questions and obviously take great care and pride in their house. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Christmas Dreams do come true

We have stayed at many different houses over the years, which have been special in their own way, but for us Street House was outstanding. It is a beautiful, spacious, well maintained and welcoming house, which is cared for with love by Janet and Mike. A special thank you to the cleaners who do an amazing job in maintaining a very high standard. Finding somewhere we could treat family members to good sized bedrooms, with comfortable beds and an ensuite was a plus. Our granddaughter who slept in the twin-bedded room claimed the family bathroom as hers when she discovered that all the remaining rooms had an ensuite! The open plan kitchen/dining room had everything we needed for our Christmas meal preparations and dining. It was the best equipped kitchen we have experienced when staying in a holiday let. It made a change not having to go to the shops to buy an item that was missing,but was essential for us cooking Christmas Lunch. We thought it was a lovely touch to have access to basic supplies if we needed them, which was so helpful. Thank you for the Christmas Wreath on the door, and the decorative touches throughout the house. The comprehensive information provided before we arrived, as well as the time that both Janet and Mike gave to respond to any queries we had was very much appreciated. We enjoyed a perfect late autumn break at Street House which is warm and cosy and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Perfect Simmer break

Had an amazing stay at Street House, communication prior to arrival was great and when we pulled up to the house it was stunning and didnt dissappoint in any way. The house was spotless and had plenty of space for everyone, the wifi was fab which pleased my teens and the pool and outdoor area was just the icing on the cake. There were lots of hidden extras which made the holiday easier, the pool inflatables and games all ready to be used and the bottle of champagne on arrival was a lovely touch. We were extremely lucky with the weather we had which meant we could utilise all of the outdoor area but the pool was heated so could have been used even if that changed. The only negative to our stay was that we had only booked for 5 days and not longer. We will definitely be returning.

Loved staying here, there is everything you could possibly need already provided. The weather was good and I had paid for pool heating and we swan every day. Good pub down the road, food was lovely. We had a fantastic stay at homely Street House. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool which was always warm and clean. Wonderful house

Our stay was lovely in every way. The house is beautiful and spacious, the pool is large and clean. The area is very charming and relaxing, highly recommend to any friends and family that just want to get away and enjoy the English coast.

Just brilliant!

We might have had storm Eunice try and disrupt our stay, but this amazing property, with lovely owners, meant we had a brilliant time! House is gorgeous, pool amazing, facilities perfect. Owners were so accommodating and communication was great. Can highly recommend and would definitely stay again

Wonderful Stay

We stayed at Street House for one week in October. The house and garden were beautiful; the children loved the swimming pool and trampoline. Great location with lovely cafe and pub within walking distance. The excellent West Wittering beach is just a short drive away and we spent a good part of the holiday there.

Fabulous House

Amazing house, met all our expectations . Pool lovely and warm which the 3 children loved. Garden beautiful , lots of room to play and relax .
