Park wonen voor de deur! Dit vernieuwde huis biedt de ideale locatie op Bidwell Park, op slechts enkele minuten van het centrum van Chico, winkels en restaurants. Deze prive-woning biedt een ontspannende ruimte met oprit parkeren. We hebben onze topsuggesties in onze gids gegeven, van alles, inclusief koffie en eten, tot sightseeing en winkelen. Ervaar Chico als een local met een paar strandcruisers, inbegrepen bij uw verblijf.
Bidwell Park is het juweel van Chico! Met het park als uw achtertuin, wordt u onmiddellijk overgebracht naar een andere wereld als u er in stapt. Met enorme platanen en eiken om je heen het hele jaar door kreek vol met zwemgaten, voel je je vrij en weg van alles. Je zult zien waarom de avonturen van Robin Hood (1938) Bidwell Park gebruikten om zijn Sherwood Forest-scènes te filmen en generaal John Bidwell besloot de regio thuis te maken.
We bieden een geweldige locatie op Bidwell Park met 2 gratis strandcruisers waarmee je snel toegang hebt tot Downtown Chico (6 minuten), One Mile Pool (3 minuten), het Chico Mall (5 minuten), 5 Mile Pool (7 minuten), en Upper Park (15 minuten). Perfect location and well appointed

The little house is in a perfect location. We hit the walking trail first thing in the morning, which was lovely. The house itself has everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable and we had a peaceful night's sleep. We would definitely stay again if ever in the area. The owners are very friendly and accommodating.

I will start by saying the owner was very kind and communicative - which we appreciated. And on the positive side it was very clean. That said, this property is not set up for three guests. The fold out love seat futon is not fit for an adult to sleep on. The shower is very very small. Also, while not controlled by the owner; we were without electricity both nights from 8:30 pm for 60 to 120 minutes making it a challenge to get to bed at a decent temperature and hour. While the owner said it was unusual, the rechargeable camping lantern in the middle of the dining room table should have been a clue. So a real mixed experience when our primary need was a comfy place to sleep and shower.

Cute house on the edge of the Park

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this small cottage. It was perfect for the two of us. It backs up onto Bidwell Park which is a great place to walk and enjoy some outdoor time. The house is very clean and has everything you could possibly want for your stay, We appreciated the coffee beans and the French press. The only thing we could have asked for was a better shower head for the small shower, but it was still quite ok. We would definitly recommend this place in Chico.

Beautiful Creek

This place is exactly what it promises: available host when needed with a good sense of humor, downtown Chico very close, but the best is the access (behind the house!) to Chico Creek with walk and bike way for miles. Nice neighborhood and nice people all around! We will definitely stay here again when and if we return!

Worth It

This small home is near the park, but also near a noisy highway. The traffic did not bother us too much, but I was surprised by it. The batteries were low in the remote control for the TV, and several light bulbs were burned out. It was easy to communicate with the owner, but it would be nice for those kinds of things to be checked ahead of time. Chico is a lovely, friendly city and staying here was affordable and convenient. Even our dogs were allowed, and there is a little yard in the back.

3rd times a charm

This was our 2nd stay in this property and it once again didn’t disappoint. Charming, clean, cozy, comfortable, excellent location, close to everything including the freeway which you cannot really hear from this rental. The communication with the owner was effortless and prompt … once again, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. See ya next year and know that the 3rd time will be a charm too.

Very convenient location. Everything you need, nothing you don't.

All the essentials are covered. Perfect for a business trip, or a short visit. Not exactly a vacation rental. The shower is pretty small and the bed is super creaky! Would be nice if there was a washer/drier, but this is why this place is perfect for a short visit. It has everything you need, without all the little extras that ultimately just add up to a more expensive room.

Guest house gem steps from Bidwell Park

This rental has everthing you need for a comfortable stay and goes beyond. The rental is stocked with items that you may need (spices, shampoo...) yet you may not find in other rentals. Location is close to downtown Chico and steps from the beautiful Lower Bidwell Park bike/walk paved trail. Sharing that coffee in the am is a french press (and coffee grinder) (in case you're like me and want to be prepared for your am caffeine needs). I would stay here again on my next visit to Chico.
