'We stayed at La Dolce Vita for 3 nights and it was a very comfortable place. The room was big, clean and comfortable with air conditioning and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. We had breakfast included and it was served not in the property but on the Belvedere where the view is something that words cannot describing it. La Dolce vita is located approximately 10 mins walk from the marina very easy to get to. Milena, the owner, was very helpful and provided us with all the information about Procida....

'Heel vriendelijk mensen. De kamer was voldoende en net. Dit voor ons verblijf. Het terras voor de deur was aangenaam. 'S avonds kon je daar gerust blijven zitten met een zelf meegebracht flesje wijn. Ze zetten zelf de wijn koel en geven je glazen, zonder probleem. Toen wij doorgingen kregen wij nog een dikke knuffel. Wij gaan zeker terug.'

'The property is really cute and quiet. We did go in the fall, so we now see why the amenities were not fully open (Spa, pool was open but not maintained, cafe/restaurant no open despite Google listing it as open). We wish some of this would have been better represented when we booked. The staff were very kind, and there is plenty to explore on the island. Very walkable or you can take the community bus or rent bikes/scooters. '

'There was no warm water,in none of the 3 rooms , the receptionist ran away after bringing some breakfast before we could complain. As the hotel was empty , the rooms were freasing cold.'

'Kristian, the host, greeted me warmly as I was walking up the alley. He quickly grabbed my bag (which was very heavy) and proceeded to walk me to my room. He then led me upstairs to their rooftop patio and pulled out a paper tourist map and showed me all the sights and transportation options. 'We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. '
