'Beautiful historic building that is now a hotel, the rooms are a bit dated, I expected a bit newer standard in the elements of the room. The location is perfect for sightseeing the most iconic parts of Santo Domingo.

I would not recommend parking your car in this street, as it is very busy. There is no elevator, so keep that in mind. Also make sure you can get a room that is not facing the square. At night (2-3 am) they will powerwash the square from all the bird poop from the pigeons. That will wake you up. And at 7 am the cleaners with blowers will...

'Loved my stay here, I was extremely comfortable. The rooms are well appointed and furnished tastefully. The bathroom was spotless, with hot water and great pressure. I can't rate the breakfast because I am not a morning person, but the space on which its served is nice. I will look here first on my next trip to the DR.'
