Gloednieuwe (2019) luxe slaapkamer en ensuite in het hart van de Cotswolds

Afgewerkt tot een zeer hoge standaard met zichtbare balken en houtkachel. Open keuken / woonkamer met eiland, aparte slaapkamer met inloopdouche en bad. Apart toilet, parkeerplaats en tuin.
Ideaal gelegen in het hart van het dorp op loopafstand van 3 pubs, prachtige wandelingen op het platteland en binnen gemakkelijke toegang tot de Cotswold-steden Burford, Stow en Bourton.
De ruimte
Stel op het terrein van Mulberry schuur (zie mijn andere lijst) en afgescheiden van het hoofdgebouw met een eigen toegangsdeur.
Perfect voor koppels, maar is geschikt voor een reis voor baby's.
Open keuken / woonkamer met houtkachel en 50 inch flatscreen-tv
Volledig ingerichte keuken met eiland om te dineren. Oven, kookplaat, vaatwasser, koelkast Vriezer, wasmachine en een Nespresso-apparaat.
Apart toilet / garderobe
Slaapkamer met kingsize bed, flatscreen-tv, kledingkast en lades, leidend naar een ensuite badkamer met inloopdouche en bad.
Alle handdoeken en beddengoed verstrekt.
Buiten privé tuin met tafel en stoelen.
Parkeren voor één voertuig.
Het pittoreske dorpje Shipton-Under-Wychwood ligt aan de rand van de Cotswolds, een Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Onze vakantie lodge is perfect gelegen voor het verkennen van de Cotswolds met Blenheim Palace, het Cotswold Wild Life Park
en de historische steden Burford, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold en Bibury in de buurt.
We hebben het geluk omringd te zijn door historische bezienswaardigheden en een prachtig landschap waar onze gasten doorheen kunnen wandelen of fietsen.
Het dorp ligt aan het voetpad van Oxfordshire Way en biedt meer dan 100 mijl aan paden door pittoreske dorpjes en eeuwenoude bossen.
Als dat allemaal als hard werken klinkt, wandel dan naar een van de 3 lokale pubs allemaal binnen 5 minuten lopen of gezellig naast de houtkachel.
Gast toegang
Gasten hebben toegang tot het bijgebouw via hun eigen voordeur. Het bijgebouw ligt weg van het huis. We wonen voornamelijk in het hoofdgebouw (zie foto's) en we delen de oprit met gasten. Als we in de buurt zijn, helpen we gasten graag met eventuele vereisten en nuttige informatie.
Het hoofdgebouw kan ook worden verhuurd aan gasten tijdens uw verblijf, maar afgezien van het delen van de rit, is het bijgebouw voor u!

My husband I spent six nights and loved every minute of our stay. Welcoming hosts and a completely homelike environment greeted us. Immaculate and well-equipped we were able to make ourselves at home. The setting is lovely and we found ourselves well-situated to visit The Cotswolds in depth.

A really nice stand alone holiday place with separate bedroom, nice bathroom and extra toilet. Full kitchen if you want to cook.Located in a very pretty village but not touristy. Easy walk to two nice pubs for evening meals.Great hosts.The property was very clean and well maintained.

State Of The Art Cotswold Comfort

A superb purpose-built cottage in the middle of the sleepy Cotswold countryside, we relaxed and luxuriated amid all the mod cons that included electric blinds, heated floors, large television and generous lounges. We loved every moment of our stay, driving to picturesque villages and warming our hands by the fire. Our hosts Chris & Liz were both helpful and charming; we look forward to returning for another visit.

The Annex is absolutely stunning, clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. Chris and Liz are warm and friendly hosts who are available if you need anything and have put together a lovely environment to stay. Perfect stay, the property is well located and quiet. Completed to a very high standard, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return any time in the area. It has good pubs with food within easy walking distance, nice local walks and so much more. Owners are very helpful with information before arrival and it was a big plus. Perfection in the Cotswolds

We adored this spacious, well-appointed lovely cottage. Chris and Liz are lovely owners, perfectly communicating the best of the local sites and pubs. The village is small and quiet, but an easy jump off point for much of the Cotswolds. The great AC in the bedroom is a plus in warmer weather, and we look forward to another stay in the cool time to take advantage of the fire stove. It’s hard to describe how quaint and wonderful the Annex is!

Traumhaftes „Schloss“ im Kleinformat

Ein rundum liebevoll ausgestattetes Häuschen mit allem Komfort und einem sehr freundlichen Gastgeberpaar in einer wunderschönen dörflichen Gegend Englands hat uns einen Traumurlaub beschert. Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Tag bestens umsorgt, von gekühlten Begrüßungsgetränken wie Prosecco, Bier und frischer Milch, kleinen Naschereien, vielen liebevoll ausgewählten Tipps für das heimelig ausgestattete Häuschen mit all seinen Komfort-Features über Empfehlungen zu Wanderungen in die Umgebung bis zu den vielfältigen Angeboten an Restaurants, Ausflugszielen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und in Nachbarorten. Vom ersten Tag fühlten wir uns wie zuhause und hatten wegen der vielen Unternehmungen fast zu wenig Zeit, unser kleines Schloss zu genießen. Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße nochmals an Liz un Chris! Ihr habt dort ein kleines Juwel geschaffen, das wir bestimmt noch öfter besuchen kommen.

If you ever visit the Cotswolds this cottage is the perfect place to stay. The location is within walking distance from a few excellent pubs in the village of Shipton Under Wychwood. This cottage is immaculate and you will find everything you need. The welcome package was over the top. The hosts Liz & Chris are wonderful people.

Wonderful property and location

We couldn’t fault anything about the property and our communication with Chris. The property was immaculately presented and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Shipton is an ideal location to explore the Cotswolds and is very quiet compared to many of the ‘tourist’ areas. Nice pubs nearby too, the pick of which is now The Crown which has recently changed hands and has been renovated. The owner Andrew is really welcoming and we had an excellent dinner there. We would highly recommend Mulberry Barn Annex.
