Ondanks dat het hotel pas hooguit 4 jaar oud is, zag het er slecht uit. Overal vlekken, roestige kranen, plinten die los lagen, gekreukeld beddengoed. Deel vh personeel sprak slecht Engels. Roomservice duurde veel te lang. Vroegen 3 keer kamermummer. Na half uur gebeld en ze zeiden dat ze het kamernummer niet wisten. We hebben al veel 5 sterren hotels op Cyprus bezocht maar dit is zeker niet meer dan3 waard.

Zijn laatste week van oktober geweest voor een zonnige relaxweek. Dit is het dus ook echt geworden. Werden bij aankomst welkom geheten met drankje. Hadden 2 kamers met 5 personen. 1 kamer had upgrade naar luxe kamer met 2 badkamers en aparte slaapkamer. Hadden zelf een upgrade gedaan van halfpension naar all inclusieve. Eten was super; diversiteit iedere dag. Werd naar je tafel begeleid. Geen rijen voor t eten. WIFI in gemeenschappelijke ruimtes gratis, ook bij zwembad en ligweide. Ligbedden voldoende aanwezig. Minpunt; à la carte restaurants zijn met bijbetaling. Zee niet toegankelijk; vaak gevaarlijke stroming en moeilijk bereikbaar. Ligt vrij ver buiten centrum om lopend te gaan. Animatie stelt niks voor.

This property has great potential but unfortunately for an 'all-inclusive resort' it was very limited. The building/rooms were decent and clean. The bed was comfy but the pillows were awful. Unfortunately most of the staff were not friendly and made you feel like you were putting them out to clarify or ask for anything. There was very little entertainment or activities. There is only 1 buffet style eating area - the other 'restaurants' were closed until May - so cannot comment on the food/service. The food was basic at best - cafeteria quality. The salad bar was the best choice by far with lots of options and variety and build your own. Bottled water was limited or you had to pay for it, drinks/cocktails were only offered during specific times and ended early right on the dot - if you were in line at 1 min to midnight and midnight hit, you had to pay. You are not allowed to take food out of the buffet area and absolutely no take away. Some of the serving staff were excellent but they were few and far between. Most of the servicing staff were very surly and it seemed as if you were bothering them to ask for food or cutlery or coffee cups or glasses, which ran out frequently. The chair cushions as well as the lounge cushions around the pool were not clean. Thankfully the weather was good and we were with friends and family for a wedding so we made the best of it.

We had a good-sized room with an amazing view, so we overlooked the fact that the room was a bit tired and needed repair. The carpets in the corridor of the 4th floor needed a good clean. Unfortunately, some of the restaurants and the roof top bar were not open which was disappointing and meant we did not have much variety when it came to food. The food could have been better, but the staff in the restaurant were helpful and friendly. There were a number of weddings which created a great atmosphere. However, do not book a room on the 4th floor under where they have wedding receptions as the insulation is not great and you will feel as if your room is part of the wedding party. Not great if you want an early night. The facilities downstairs are good, the bar area, balcony, pool and space outside is great. We were told the hotel opens up properly in a week and saw staff painting and working on the building so it might be a different experience then.

Nous étions très inquiétes au vu de certains commentaires mais nous avons été agréablement surprise. l’accueil à la réception agréable et serviable les piscines top et propres. La chambre propre et faite tout les jours (pensez à mettre le petit papier à la poignée) Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec beaucoup de choix . L’hôtel se situe ds une zone un peu loin de tout mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé toutes les excursions sont venue nous récupérer et nous ramener.. le bord de la côte est bien aménagée il y a un sentier jusqu’au château de paphos pour une promenade à pied en trottinette ou en vélo .

This is not a 5 star hotel . In low season half the restaurants are shut. The room was cleaned once so no clean towels. You have to stay 7 days to be able to use the 3 other restaurants once per stay, and in low season not open. No mini bar no robes and slippers as advertised.Light in bathroom not working so dark taking a shower ,took 4 attempts to fix it Food awful and cold, lots of selection but nothing went together . Can’t have drinks in waterpark when you over there as part of all inclusive not mentioned anywhere in description Won’t be going again

My second stay which was as good as my first. Excellent service from the SPA as I enjoyed another treatment from Virginia and relaxed before flying back home. A warm welcome even though it was a very late arrival and the offer of snacks and drinks as I checked in was very welcome. Warm, comfortable beds… plenty of space and just a great experience

Hotel heruntergekommen. In der Badewanne die Halterung für Duschzeug auf Halbmast, der Drehknopf für die Wanne defekt und einfach daneben gelegt. Im Zimmer deutliche Abnutzungsspuren. Die angebrachten Nachttische bereits in Schieflage. Balkon eindeutige Finger- und Handabdrücke der Vorgänger. Beschilderung im Hotel sehr schlecht. Mehrfach verlaufen. An 3/4 Abenden Lautstarke Hochzeiten auf der Fläche über dem Pool. 2x würde unser Tisch beim Abendessen abgeräumt inklusive bezahlen Getränke, da kein AI gebucht, während wir beim Buffet waren. Essensauswahl in Ordnung. Überall Allergene ausgewiesen.

Sincerly, it was for me and my family the worst experience in our entire life. Firstly, King Evelton is far away to be a 5 stars hotel, the hotel needs an immediate down grade to maximum 3 stars. Personal has no politeness, no sense of customer care, service is unbelievably horrible, as for example this case among so many that happened, we ask two times for the TV to be check and none shown up to fix it during the whole stay. The hotel is dirty, completely dilapidated, fresh towels provided are dirty, the list is too long... Regarding the food, disappointed again. No fresh juice as well. So disappointed, promoting such hotel as a 5 stars is in my opinion a misleading advertising which lead the customers to book the worst hotel I've ever went to, this is unacceptable. To be honest, I usually do not comment about the hotels but this time I had to, I highly do not recommend King Evelton, avoid it to all cost. I hope this will help others in the future. This Hotel is a joke!

Sorry definitely not a 5 Star!
I had a nice week with my family and the best thing about this hotel was the food and friendly staff. However, there appears to be a lack of overall management, so although the staff were doing what they could, there are many areas that need improvement. It's very tatty for a 5 star. For example, mould in the bathroom, worn and tatty headboard and wardrobe in the bedroom, lifts were damaged inside and not repaired, hand rails fallen off, dirty unwashed windows, dirty carpets in hallways (that would need replacing), chipped cups and plates in the restaurant, air conditioning units leakng in the lobby and restaurant (these were occasionally wiped by staff but I wonder how often the filters are changed), the roof top bar had bird poo down the walls and on the floor and tatty stained furniture, outside there are broken sunbeds and umbrellas.... I could go on. To me this is all basic stuff. I would then add more plants and pictures as the hotel is very big so there are large empty desolate spaces. I feel it needs a LOT more investment and manager/s who raise the standard. It's quite amazing how it's still going.... I would give it about a 3 star at best and would not return....there are plenty of other hotels in Paphos to choose from.
