'Perfect place to relax prior to visiting Machu Picchu or any excursion. Everything we needed was provided. They even arranged car service from Cusco. The location is prefect! I really loved hearing the river outside our room. Shops, restaurants and the train station is within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here. 5 stars!!!'

'Property was in a beautiful setting a short walk away from Plaza de Armas. If you have wheeled luggage contact them when you arrive at the square for assistance. Rooms were clean and simple. Breakfast was lovely, simple but tasty, the crusty bread loved by us all. Staff were friendly and happy to help. A unique and memorable stay, one of my favourites.'

'In the small town, hotel is found in an alley. There is a stone walkway up but sometimes the receptionist is in and out of the office, so just give it a minute before they show up again. did not get to try the breakfast, but it was complementary disappointed that I didn’t. Walls are paper thin but room is clean and the train is a 10 minute walk down the street along with everything else. Very great location.'

'The staff was super helpful. Gave us a map of city and pointed out sites and directions. Beautiful English Bed comfortable great hot water. The best was the rooftop breakfast enclosed so good for any weather. Even have lounge chairs on terrace'

'Nice place run by a kind and helpful couple. Close to the centre of town, but quiet. It’s not possible to drive up to the hotel by car, but it’s just a short walk. Nice view of ruins and mountains from the window. '

'A family hostel at a 10 min walk from the center. Nice clean room with a view on the garden and mountains. Owner doesn speak any english so that was a pity. If he arranges a taxi you pay 3x the price. Also the room we booked was al of a sudden more expensive but after some discussion we got the room that was promised. But we could leave our luggage for a night while going to Aguas Calientes and we had a good time in Ollantaytambo. '

'The room was clean though didn't have heating or a kitchenette available as advertised on Expedia. Payment was in soles & not USD as advertised on Expedia which caused confusion & I had to pay more than advertised on Expedia. The staff were lovely & helpful & it was the most comfortable bed I had slept in for months. Great view from my room of the mountains & Inka site & great breakfast too. Would recommend though some things need changing on Expedia website.'

'Pas de papier toilette à mon arrivée. Pas de serviette ni de savon. Eau froide, demander pour avoir de l'eau chaude. Si il y a assez d'eau dans le chauffe eau! Ce qui ne fut pas mon cas. Très bruyant, lumineux avec des rideaux en papier. Réveillé chaque heure de la nuit par la famille tenancière qui parle, bouge, etc... Ce n'est pas une vérité écrite, mais mauvaise expérience. (Crevé le lendemain )'

'Nuestra experiencia en el Hotel Cocatambo de Ollantaytambo fue excelente de principio a fin. El desayuno fue espectacular, muy completo y delicioso. 'This was a very nice affordable place to stay in Cusco. One thing that I wasn’t expecting was there was no front desk or lobby. I arrived late at night and it’s not very well marked. I had to ring a doorbell and was quickly greeted very nice employee who gave me my room code. (It’s a historic building so they can’t make changes to the exterior.) One thing to note is this up a very steep hill, not too far from the Plaza de Arms,so if you are not hiking shape, it’s an effort to get back to the...
