'One O Eight was the perfect stay. The room and property was spotless (the bath in the room was such a night treat), and the staff were all incredibly lovely. I opted for a hotel pickup from the airport as a solo female traveller and it was fairly priced and not much more than an Uber & I really enjoyed chatting with the lovely driver that collected me. The chef was so nice and made me a really lovely vegan meal for dinner and they packed me up a breakfast box for my early departure the next...

'Prima plek om te overnachten als je laat aankomt en de volgende dag op pad gaat. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt uitgebreid. We hadden een flinke vertraging, maar de luchthavenshuttle stond toch te wachten, uur nadat de laatste zou rijden. Dat is zo fijn, dat je zo laat in de avond geen vervoer hoeft te zoeken vanaf JNB! Walking distance easily to the casino, safe and secured with a security gate that will even stop Uber drivers if they don’t have a proper reservation number to pick up someone from the hotel and just across the freeway from the mall. 'This felt more like a business resort than a conference centre. I enjoyed the tranquil gardens and layout as well as the amenities in the area. Very easy to walk to a Spur restaurant, supermarkets or mall I booked this because of the swimming pool. 'We were blown away by the accommodation. The first thing you encounter on arrival is a massive indoor pool of Koi (I guess that’s in the name!) The luxury and beautiful atmosphere continues as you explore the property. We would have gone swimming but the weather was a bit nippy, the breakfast was lovely with different menu each day - oh and the muffins… Le-Anne was so welcoming and made us feel at home during our stay. Rooms were clean and comfy beds made for a welcome rest. '

'Well run facility. We stayed as a 2+2 family in the room with a double bedroom and bunk-bed in the lounge-kitchen-diner area. It was good to have this extra space and flexibility. Games room was a hit with the kids. Local restaurants/cafes are fine. Eastgate Mall is 1 mile away and safely walkable in daytime. Manager offers transfers in his car. Definitely recommend. (We went to SCI-BONO on one day which is the best science museum we've ever been to and great value.)'

'We have been enjoying our 8-day stay. From cook to cleaners, personnel was excellent. We enjoyed the garden on top of the hotel. Eastgate shopping center close by! Management was not always perfect though. Some items on the menu were out of stock, and one morning the hotel had run out of gas! Yet the cooks did everything to come up with alternatives to make our breakfasts and dinners a pleasure. So, overall, we enjoyed our stay. Hotel recommended!'
