'This was our third stay at the Kings arms in Christchurch, and another enjoyable experience. The Hotel is ideally located in the town and a short walk from the quay. The staff at check in and the restaurant are always friendly and helpful. The rooms vary in size depending on the type booked, but those we have stayed in have always been clean and well appointed. 'Spotless. Resupply of milk, cookies and other water! Food fabulous! Just a tad noisy it carries, with bar, restaurant all the one room, no carpet but in the summer I am sure with doors open that would soon be fixed.'

'We stayed overnight in a beautiful room with a roll tol bath. A very comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast.'

'Parking wasn't too bad in the Saxon Car park, however managing parking for the duration a bit of a faff to juggle without having to top up in the early hours. WiFi was disappointing especially with the cost of a very basic room. You'd expect it to be free as with many other locations. Even though you pay for it, it's very weak, which was a real pain as it kept dropping and you had to keep signing back in.'

'The bed was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. The mattress was shockingly bad. You could feel and see every spring which creaked pinged and moved everytime you moved. The room also had mould on the ceiling and an awful smell of musky dampness. My friend had a much nicer room and their bed was okay so it’s luck of the draw I guess.'
