'Quarry House was an amazing venue for our extended family Christmas celebration. We had 12 people from 9-74 and a dog and all had a great time. The house looked beautiful all lit up and decorated. We particularly appreciated the amazingly well equipped kitchen. There was nothing at all that we missed even down to spare batteries. 'Fantastic service from the owners, they made us feel very welcome upon arrival. The beds were super comfortable and that was coupled with a great view. Lots of little details which added character to the room and gave it a homey feel such as small ornaments. 'We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was popular with locals celebrating a football match win and this lasted until around 10:00 pm when it all subsided into a gentle placidity. The breakfast in particular was delicious.'
