'Wij verbleven in the Fleece om Oxford te bezoeken (20 min rijden naar P en R) , maar ook enkele leuke stadjes in de Cotswolds liggen binnen handbereik. Het hotel heeft een gezellige sfeer, vriendelijk personeel, en een heerlijk ontbijt (diverse keuzes waaronder naast traditioneel Engels ook yoghurt met granola en Belgische wafel met yoghurt en fruit). Kamer was ook prima en goed verzorgd, eten in het restaurant erg lekker. Reserveer wel een plekje bij aankomst, dinsdagavond was er plek genoeg...

'We stayed here for the night as we were going to the Farmers Dog pub for dinner. This is a great pub/restaurant with rooms. We were in the annexe across the court yard. Room was nice with plenty of space . Complimentary water, hot drinks, biscuits, shower toiletries and comfy top quality bedding. The only downside was the shower was a little awkward. Big waterfall shower but fitted a bit close to the taps so in order to be underneath it you had to stand right by the taps over the plug hole and...

'We really enjoyed our stay at Lords of the Manor. The house is absolutely beautiful and the ground surrounding it are classic picturesque countryside. Lovely walk through upper and lower slaughter. We had dinner at the restaurant which was a bit too fancy and pricey for our tastes but the staff were lovely and very kind. The room was wonderful for the night and I would recommend it!'

'Hartelijk ontvangen en goed alles uitgelegd. Mooie kamer en goede douch. Parkeren vond ik spannend, want dat was niet naast het gebouw maar dat ging goed. Ducklington is ook een vriendelijk dorp.'

'We hebben slechts 1 nacht in het hotel verbleven met 3 personen en we hadden een ruime familiekamer wat eigenlijk je eigen cottage is verdeeld over meerdere etages. Het gebouw zelf is prachtig, zoals bijna alle gebouwen in die regio en met een ruime tuin eromheen. Het interieur zelf, kan her en der wel een touchup gebruiken met name de receptie area en badkamer, maar het is heel in het algemeen heel sfeervol en evt kleine ongemakken worden ruimschoots goedgemaakt door de vriendelijke staff.'

'We had a family room and the additional bedroom really helped with space. The accommodation is very well located as it is on a quiet road, but also very handy for the Arlington Row as well as a lovely pub called the Catherine Wheel. The food by Ricardo was lovely. The granola was a particular favourite amongst the family. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate returning in future!'

'First time visiting here, even though we only live a shortish distance away. Can't believe we haven't been there before! Such friendly helpful staff. The room was immaculate, quiet and comfy. Breakfast was also delicious. We will definitely return, as we want to try the Spa facilities.'
