'This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!'

'Beautiful location with views of the Meteora rocks. Close to hiking trails to monasteries. Owners were beyond belief and did our laundry for 20E. Paid for breakfast but well worth it. Great restaurant up the street - Meteron Panorama (try the steppe cow steak and smoked black pig). Worth spending 2 nights after hiking 11 miles.'

We kregen een boek te leen wat we de dagen mochten gebruiken dat we in het hotel waren met beschrijvingen van de kloosters en dat in het nederlands de kamers zijn prima, goede bedden en douche. 'We had a amazing time at Iridanos! In our opinion the best place to stay when visiting Meteora. It’s located slightly out of town which is great in terms of parking and silence at night. Still, going into town takes just about 10-15 minutes on foot. Everyone at the guesthouse is so friendly and helpful and breakfast is amazing. Overal, great value for your money. Definitely book here for your trip to Meteora !'

'We got a very nice room. Owner of hotel knew we will come with an infant of 1 years old and therefore gave us a bigger room. We had a very nice kitchen and everything was very clean and comfortable. 'Great location easy to find. Staff on arrival very helpful, not so when leaving.The argument as to if we’d paid the bill was pretty embarrassing for them. Room was ok good view of the monasteries.
