I was wondering why there was ear plugs next to the bed until I was woken up. No notice of construction on the site or even at front desk. For someone who travels very often if the hotel knows there is construction - they tell you. '

'Tegenover het Witte Huis ligt dit hotel. Tikkeltje ouderwets maar de service is fantastisch. Kamers zijn goed uitgerust met allee technische faciliteiten. Kamer zijn wel klein evenals de badkamer De inrichting is klassiek. Goede amenities in de badkamer van Etro. Maar zoals de taxichauffeur zei: De Hay Adams is meer voor regeringspersonen, overheid, De Four Seasons voor de creatievelingen.......'

'The guy who checked us in was more than accommodating! A Real life Saver I forget his name but I hope he sees this! Excellent staff Clean rooms Great View from the rooftop. We cooked out made use of the sky view room and had a Wonderful dinner with the Best view. '

'This historic property is beautifully maintained and centrally located near the mall and museums, Old Ebbit Grill and Joes Crab, among other eateries. Also, the Round Robin grill, named by Walt Whitman, offers good food and great drinks. It is only one of two bars in the US to ask me if I wanted my martini stirred or shaken. The suites are spacious and amentities fine.'

'I would never stay here again even though the hotel was excellent. The property is beautiful and clean. The staff were friendly and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The speak easy is fun with good cocktails. That said, the rooftop terrace is NOT a lounge. Instead it’s a full club from Thursday-Saturday night. We stayed on the 6th floor and I could hear every song played upstairs while taking a shower to get ready for dinner through trying to go to sleep with AirPods in noise...

'Heerlijk gezellig hotel centraal gelegen in Washington. Uitstekende service. Tip : maak een keer gebruik van de gratis beschikbare fietsen. Washington is zeer fietsvriendelijk en alles is op de fiets bereikbaar.'

'The front desk staff was absolutely amazing. Very helpful! The rooms were clean and the pool was a good added touch for our stay. The only complaint I have was the food. The breakfast buffet was like having nothing because it wasn’t good at all. There’s alot of near by good restaurants so it wasn’t that bad of a deal. Def would stay again! '
