'We booked and paid extra for a room with a view but there wasn’t much to see from the floor we were on and the side we faced. Also beware they hold $300 deposit for incidentals and such when you check in, this was never refunded after calling the hotel and waiting 10 business day, had to dispute with credit card. In addition, grout in bathroom floor was filthy and stained, not properly cleaned or maintained. Finally skip the breakfast, food was decent but folks working there are unfriendly.'

'We had a great stay at the maritime hotel. Great staff, and the room had great western views towards the Hudson (small sliver of a view of the river) and a few fantastic buildings by Heatherwick, BIG, Nouvel, and Gehry….all from our little porthole window. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, mainly cheap croissants, but the coffee was good enough. The west village is one of the best places to stay in the city and we would happily stay here again.'

'Hotel with a great interior design and easily located in Chelsea, good spot in order to discover NY by foot or subway.
Very clean hotel and rooms, daily clean-up service as well.
Unfortunately no coffee machine in the room, nor a free bottle of water or anything.
Reception desk mixed our reservation up which caused a bit of uncomfortable situation at first. '

'Zeer vriendelijk personeel, de kamer was brandschoon en ruim.
De ligging is ook perfect. Dichtbij Penn station en Times Square.
Beneden is een kleine Starbucks waar je koffie, ontbijt etc kunt kopen.
Na het uitchecken hadden wij nog een halve dag in NY dus we hebben onze koffer afgegeven aan de zeer vriendelijke conciërge. Alles netjes achter slot en grendel.
Zeker een aanrader!'
