Je schuilplaats ligt verscholen in het San Juan-gebergte in het zuidwesten van Colorado

Deze prachtige cederhut bevindt zich op een bebost perceel van een hectare in het San Juan-gebergte van de Colorado Rocky Mountains op een hoogte van 9300 voet. Alle nutsvoorzieningen zijn ondergronds, dus geen van de fantastische uitzichten wordt ontsierd door hoogspanningslijnen. Het huis rust op een open plek in het midden van de kavel om het uitzicht te maximaliseren. De rest van het pand is gelegen in een combinatie van majestueus donker hout en trillende esp.

Er zijn twee Master Suites met aangrenzende ligbaden. Een loft van 500 vierkante voet kan extra slaapruimte bieden voor 4 extra gasten, er is echter een toeslag van $ 25. 00 per bed per nacht voor de overloopaccommodaties. Laat het ons weten als uw gezelschap met meer dan vier personen is, zodat we de extra bedden kunnen klaarmaken.

De volledig ingerichte keuken en eetkamer zijn voorzien van potten, pannen, standaard kleine apparaten en bediening aan tafel voor acht personen. Alle bed- en badlinnen, zeep en shampoo zijn aanwezig, dus neem gewoon je boodschappen en een tandenborstel mee om je thuis-van-huis-ervaring compleet te maken!

De bedden zijn heerlijk comfortabel en elke queensize mastersuite is van de andere gescheiden, wat voor zowel privacy als een verhoogd gevoel van eenzaamheid zorgt voor elke gast.

De open haard in de grote zaal voegt zowel warmte als gracieuze ambiance toe. Zet je voeten in de luie jongensstoelen en laat je zorgen gewoon wegsmelten. Games, een volledige bibliotheek met geweldige boeken, films en schotel-tv zijn beschikbaar om van te genieten.

Grote dekken sieren de voor- en achterkant van dit huis, een barbecue en een eettafel staan klaar voor uw picknickmaaltijden.

Zoek je gratis fles Colorado-wijn in de bedankmand op het aanrecht.

Fantastische wandel-, fiets- en ATV-avonturen beginnen direct voor de deur. Onze gasten krijgen een vispas voor de meren in ontwikkeling.

Booteigenaren kunnen vissen op Blue Mesa Reservoir (12 mijl afstand) of Silver Jack Reservoir (25 mijl afstand) en bankvissen is op beide locaties ook mogelijk.

Vergeet niet om tijdens uw verblijf The Arrowhead Mountain Lodge te bezoeken. De charmante inrichting en maaltijden voor die dagen dat je geen zin hebt om te koken zijn een echte traktatie en de Lodge ligt in de buurt!

Deze accommodatie is een tweede huis voor ons geweest sinds we de bouw in 2006 hebben voltooid en we kunnen gerust zeggen dat u zoveel interessante dingen zult doen om te wensen dat u een langer verblijf zou hebben geboekt.

Onze property manager is beschikbaar om u te helpen met al uw vragen en is te bereiken op (970) 243-7530. De beveiliging wordt 24 uur per dag verzorgd door de HOA en bij de accommodatie wordt een informatieboekje met pijlpunten verstrekt met alle relevante informatie.

Wij zijn ervaren eigenaren van onroerend goed, hadden een restaurant en berghut en een aantal verhuureenheden in de stad, voordat we met pensioen gingen en kijken ernaar uit om uw verblijf onvergetelijk te maken!

We had a great time at the cabin over the Christmas break. Enjoyed all the snow and trails that we went on with our snowmobiles. Cabin was perfect for our family who wanted the experience of snowmobiling into a cabin. Everything was perfect. Thanks for the great stay!

A little off the beaten track which was just what I was looking for! The cabin was clean, well stocked and very comfortable and inviting. The locals are great people! Make sure to visit Arrowhead Mountain Lodge just two miles away for great food, drinks and entertainment. Loved seeing the wildlife everyday! Thanks for a great stay!

This is a lovely cabin to stay at for a vacation in the mountains. The cabin is spacious and we felt that we had plenty of room for our family. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

This is our third time staying here, we come every summer! We love the peace and quiet and the accessible activities that are close by. We always enjoy some dinner at the Arrowhead Lodge and enjoy fishing in the pond. The size is perfect and comfortable for ohr family.

Beautiful home tucked into the mountains. The location is perfect for going sight seeing in a broad range of southwestern Colorado. I would recommend having food with you when you arrive, the closest grocery store is 30-45 minutes away.

Very nice accommodations for sleeping. Cabin lighting should be improved. Pedestal tubs a little dangerous for elderly and not accessible for handicapped. Driveway leading down to cabin is short but very rocky. Those were the only down sides, otherwise it was what we expected. We would lease it again.

The cabin was very nice, well designed and quiet. Very spacious and had every amenity that we needed. Two things to keep in mind about this place are the showers/bathtubs are above average in height. I'm fairly mobile and it took some care to get in and out. Someone with mobility restrictions might struggle with safely entering and exiting the shower. The other thing to consider is getting to the cabin from Hwy 50 is the most convenient option. We came in about 7:45 and found out Hwy 50 closed at 7:00. We had to bribe the highway crew (literally with money) to allow us to travel the 3.5 miles down the closed road or be forced to find an alternative route. With a 20' trailer behind me, I would have found out the hard way in the dark that CR 867 would have been a very bad choice. It is a very pretty drive down to Lake City that way, but the last 3 or so miles have switchbacks that I would most likely not have made with my trailer. The cabin was very nice and as advertised. The only issue was the road closure that worked out eventually, but it could have been disastrous if they didn't let us through. If the road construction and closure would have been communicated to us, we would have been there earlier. Other than that, it is in a very pretty area with lots of mule deer roaming early and late in the day.

WOW!!! REALLY AT PEACE. GREAT CABIN. JUST BEWARE THAT ROUTE 50 CONSTRUCTION VERY DISABLING BECAUSE ROAD CLOSES AT 1930 ON WEEK NIGHTS, CDOT NOT USEFUL, local flag people yes know what's going on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CABIN, HOSTS WERE VERY KIND TO ME.

All the amenities you would want or need (the second full bathroom is really nice to have). Large comfortable living area and fully stocked kitchen. The back patio is spacious and provides a great place to relax. Feels very secluded and private.

Although we had to maneuver around road closures on CO 50, we were able to enjoy many adventures both outside and within the property and area. It is secluded which is a big plus in our book. The cabin is well-equipped, and we loved staying warm by the fire as we stargazed. We’d definitely consider staying again if we return to the area.

We really enjoyed the house, probably one of the nicer ones I've stayed in. The location was beautiful and felt secluded yet had a restaurant/lodge close by with good food and nice people. Even though it is actually in a small community it seemed like we had the mountain to ourselves. House was clean and had plenty of towels and things to keep kids occupied. We would definitely like to stay there again. We took the back way out towards Lake City. We saw deer, elk, and other wildlife. That's what the family wants to do while in Colorado so they were happy.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this secluded cabin. It was clean, spacious and furnished with everything you needed for your stay. The manager was responsive when I had questions. The only negative I had was the road construction that was happening on Hwy 50, which is of no fault to the owners. Loved our first trip to Colorado 🏔

We absolutely loved the cabin. We loved the community. We loved the different things on the property. We loved having a trail right there to take us to Lake City. But with not knowing about the construction closing the highway we came back from trails the highway was closed and had to drive back to Montrose to get a hotel. I had to call 25 hotels to even find one for that night. We had to pay premium on a hotel. I think there should be a construction schedule at the cabin so people know. We were also thankful the lodge gave us a map of the community and the trails. We left those on the counter for future guest. We would definitely stay at the cabin again just wished we would have known the schedule of the construction.

After a rocky start--a great stay. We arrived and the home had not been cleaned following the previous guest's stay due to an accident involving the person responsible for cleaning. Jeff was very quick to help get things arranged to get this rectified late that evening with follow-up the next day to finish up as it would have been a long night to do it all. Things happen and it did not take away from the rest of our stay. We enjoyed the peace and serenity staying here and the opportunities nearby to explore the Alpine Plateau and surrounding area including Lake City. The CODOT roadwork and scheduled closures on US50 did present some logistical problems getting to/from the cabin but we timed our travel to minimize the delays. The house is well furnished with almost everything you'd need and we enjoyed our stay once settled in. If you like remote areas--this is a great choice. If you want choices for nearby places to shop or dine you have to travel a bit (except for the restaurant at nearby Arrowhead Mountain Lodge) . We were here to escape the latter and enjoy the mountain air in the San Juan mountains thus this was a good choice for us. Thank you!

This was a vary quite peaceful place to spend time with family. The cabin has beautiful views and a fresh scent of pine in the air. The Cabin elevation was about 9500 Feet. We had everything we needed to cook with. It was somewhat clean and neat. We did have an issue with the Hot water heater, and we were told that it would be fixed. The bathtubs may be a little difficult for a person who have mobility issues to get in and out of. CDOT was working on Highway 50 (The Main Road in and out of the location). It was a challenge getting in and out during the Road work on Highway 50. We Would recommend staying at this cabin.
