Welcome to our Sicilian home in the heart of Ciminna, a small and authentic hilltop town in Sicily, where you can experience everyday Sicilian life away from the busy tourist resorts.

The house is simple and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay, whether you’re visiting family, exploring Sicily or simply looking for somewhere peaceful to slow down and enjoy the sunshine. The balconies look out over the piazza, giving you a lovely view of the heart of the town.

The home is spread over three levels. On the ground floor you’ll find the kitchen and a convenient half bathroom. The first floor has the living room, while the second floor has the bedroom and bathroom. The balconies overlook the piazza and are a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the view.

The house is right in the town, so you’re within easy walking distance of the local shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. The surrounding streets and piazzas are generally quiet, although this is a genuine Sicilian town rather than a purpose-built holiday resort, so you’ll hear the occasional sounds of everyday life.

Ciminna is also a great base for exploring Sicily. You can enjoy the countryside and nearby beaches, while Palermo, Cefalù, Mondello and other popular destinations are all within reach by car.

We’ve tried to make the house feel comfortable and welcoming rather than like a hotel. You’ll find the essentials you need for your stay, along with a few thoughtful extras to make things easier — including beach essentials available on request.
