The buildings are refurbished student housing. The walls are thin and we could hear other people’s conversations in their apartments from the hallways and vice versa. People put their garbage outside of their doors to be picked up the next day and it just causes the hallways to smell and look bad when you first enter. The elevators were not clean either.
The unit owner of the apartment we stayed in was very communicative and as helpful as one could be being remote. We stayed for 3 days and the unit owner stayed in contact with me every day. There was a welcome card with the WiFi and nearby eateries and 2 small snacks of chips and cookies for us. The apartment was simply and beautifully furnished.
The customer support was rude and very unhelpful, however. We called customer support because the first building we went to did not have the unit number we were assigned. We did what the email told us and called the manager but due to the hour, she was not in. Then we called their customer support. The person, believed to be female, began reading directions of how to get to the property; we were already there. When I told her we were already at the property, she continued to read the directions word-for-word from the email I had already followed the directions to. When I tried to explain to her I’d already followed those directions, she got very snippy and rude, cut me off while talking and then just hung up on me. That’s how my stay got started.
