Welcome to Lutz Lane Hideaway! We’re so glad you’re here. To keep the home comfy, safe, and welcoming for all guests, please take a moment to review these helpful rules and guides.

Driving & Parking

Driveway fits up to 2 cars. One additional car may park on the street.

Kitchen & Dining

All cookware, kitchenware, and utensils can be found in the cabinets.

Coffee lovers: We have both a Keurig and a standard coffee maker. Spices and supplies are in the tins or cabinets.

Please enjoy, but kindly clean up after yourself so the next guest feels just as at home.

Sleeping Situation (Max 6 guests + 1 with approval)

Bedroom 1 → Two twin beds (sleeps 2)

Bedroom 2 → Queen bed (sleeps 2)

Bedroom 3 → Queen bed + desk workspace (sleeps 2)

With approval: Sofa may sleep 1 additional guest

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in: After 4 pm CT

Check-out: Before 11 am CT

Early check-in/late check-out may be available for $75 (based on availability).

For security, door code is released on the day of check-in. Please upload your photo ID 48 hours before arrival to receive instructions.

Linens & Laundry

Full-size washer/dryer available with detergent and dryer sheets.

Please remove lint from the dryer after each use.

Respect towels & sheets. Makeup, tanning products, and creams can stain linens and may result in fees.

Fire & Smoking

No smoking, incense, or diffusers indoors. Violation will result in a $300 fine plus extra cleaning fees.

Fire extinguisher is under the kitchen sink.

Firepit & Grill: Available for use at your own risk. We do not supply firewood. Propane is available upon request. Please make sure flames are fully extinguished before leaving the area. Safety first!

Trash

Trash bins are located to the right of the home under the carport

Trash pickup is Monday morning. If staying over a weekend, please roll the can to the curb Sunday night and return it Monday evening.

Litter or trash left outside the bin will result in a $500 fee.

Glitter & Decorations

No glitter, confetti, or tape on walls. A $100 fine will apply if glitter/decoration residue is left behind.

Pets

Pets welcome with prior approval + $75 fee per pet (fee may vary by size/type).

Pets are not allowed on furniture. Evidence of pets on beds/couches will result in a $200 fee.

Accidents inside (urine/defecation) will incur a $250 fee.

Unauthorized pets: $250 + standard pet fee.

Service animals must be disclosed prior to arrival; therapy animals require valid documentation.

Visitors & Events

No visitors, gatherings, or events.

All guests must be listed in the reservation.

Unauthorized guests will incur a $200 fine per person and be considered trespassing.

Security

Exterior cameras are in place. Tampering with or disabling cameras will result in a $150 fine and possible eviction without refund.

Shoes & Cleanliness

Please be mindful of mud, leaves, or snow tracked inside.

Leave the home as close to its arrival condition as possible. Excessive mess/damages may incur a $75+ fee.

Check-Out Instructions

Take trash out before leaving.

Turn off all lights.

Place used towels in the washer.

Load dishwasher with any dirty dishes.

Pick up after pets (if applicable).

Lock the door behind you.
