Relaxing
First of all the cabin was spotless! Loved the wood work. The location was secluded, very quiet. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire every evening. There’s a waterfall about a 15 minute walk from the cabin. The creek is super cool. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of birds chirping in the early morning and late in the evening. Definitely a five star rating. We will be back again.

Perfect Getaway
Cute cabin located in a slightly remote and quiet area. Short drive from the Daniel Boone National Forest for hiking and walking distance from a beautiful trail leading to a nice little waterfall. Perfect for a weekend getaway or longer stay. Super clean, lots of seating outdoors and beautiful fire pit. Owners were prompt to reply to questions prior to booking and after... I highly recommend!

Great cabin for in Kentucky
This cabin is great it has all the Comfort as your home and more . If you want to get out of the city and enjoy the country this is the place to go the cabin was very clean and comfortable the host have done a great job making sure you have everything you need. I will definitely rent this cabin again

Perfect couples retreat
Perfect secluded modern, yet rustic feel cabin for a romantic getaway or just a peaceful escape! Very clean, spacious for two or even a guest as well. Up to date appliances and accommodations on a beautiful piece of land. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our Valentine’s Day night away. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway
We were looking for a place to get away for a few days for some hiking and relaxation over Thanksgiving break. The property was beautiful, had everything we needed (and more), and the communication was awesome. We spent our days hiking them coming back to the cabin. We spent time by the fire, playing football with the kids, board games, and cooking. It was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for the perfect place for our family to enjoy for a few days!

Peaceful & Cozy
I stayed at this cabin for four nights during my sabbatical as a pastor. I was hoping for a beautiful and quiet location, and this house was perfect. The owners were extremely accommodating and eager to please. You can tell that they really want this to be a pleasant experience for guests, and they deliver. It's a peaceful location. Perfect for reflection and soaking up the beauties of nature!

Nice, clean, a tad tricky to find
This was a nice, newer, clean place with hosts that were friendly and communicated well. The biggest challenge was finding the place because my iPhone map app took me to a dead-end road. However, the host had sent an email ahead of time warning me about this issue, so that's on me for not reading that message carefully. Just be aware that some map apps take you to a remote dead end country road. Upon arrival we could not find a mailbox with the cabin's address. It's possible we may have missed it, but it was dark upon arrival and we had to ask some local people who are walking around where the cabin was located. Final critique: there was no light near the parking area next to the cabin, which can be problematic for guests arriving at night who need to bring luggage inside. Not a major issue, just something to be aware of. Despite these critiques, this was a nice clean place with friendly hosts and I would be willing to stay there again.

Absolutely gorgeous. The cabin was clean and so comfortable. The bed was so comfy , had tons of pillows and blankets. The land was so gorgeous and peaceful. Internet was good. Will definitely be back again. Wendy was amazing and responded quick with messages.

Couple get away
My husband and I had a wonderful get away at a perfect place. The cabin was clean, comfortable, beautiful and exactly as described. It had everything we needed and was close to hiking trails as well. We spent evenings by the fire after cooking dinner on the grill and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Weekend Getaway

Incredibly comfortable and relaxing cabin!
This was my second time staying at this property and the first time bringing my young children. We all absolutely loved it and have plans to return regularly! So close to some phenomenal hiking, a river within walking distance to explore, and so much quiet! The cabin itself is so comfy and nice with everything you could need! Cant wait until the next time!

The listing was spot on! We had three adults and we all had a wonderful time. Great location, we explored The Gorge and relaxed on the quiet front porch at the end of the day! Perfect Stay!
House was great and the host was great to work with. Great location with a short drive to the RRG. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch at night and the waterfall that was just a short walk from the cabin. Definitely will book again.

Cute, Quaint Cabin Getaway
The Waze app got us there exactly as directed. Check-in was painless. Cabin was exceptionally spotless which we appreciate most in a lodging choice. The mattress and bedding were comfortable. The place is tastefully decorated and stocked with necessities. I do wish there’d been a light in the shower and rural internet more reliable for streaming movies, but all in all, a wonderful, delightful stay in a quiet, country setting. I’d recommend this cabin for a couples getaway or a small family stay.

Wonderful Anniversary getaway!
We rented this property because we were looking for a small, newly renovated cabin to stay in and we stumbled upon this gem! It is a little out of the way and a bit of a drive from red river gorge (which is where we wanted to hike) but we didn’t mind! The rental itself is newly renovated and so cozy! This is the perfect place to unplug from your phones and just spend time with the people around you! They had everything we needed for our short stay and even had some games (which we definitely played). The renters had information about the surrounding area and we actually walked down to the creek they describe in the information packet and it was lovely :) I highly recommend this rental for couples looking for a getaway or small families that love the outdoors!

Daytrip!
Owner had awesome communication, the cabin was beautiful and very well equipped thru the whole house, everything you needed. Kitchen was well equipped with everything and made very easy to prepare meals. The walk to the creek down the road, FYI steep incline on the way back up but great exercise. Lol Must visit the MeadowGreen Appalachian music park, great bluegrass music, delicious food and very friendly townfolk. Only negative was less secluded than I expected, neighbors all around. Pictures don't show this, but the area was still peaceful and quite. Thank you Wendy for sharing your home!

New Eastern Kentucky treasure
We were blown away with the attention-to-detail that went into the construction of this beautiful southeastern Kentucky getaway. Our kids loved a night away but also loved the technology this home offers. The convenience of how close this home is to Lexington, Winchester & Natural Bridge State Park one of the many reasons we’ll be looking to book a stay here again in the future.

The house is great. Works well for two people or a small family, comfortable sharing the master bathroom. It is quaint but plenty of space. The kitchen is really well-stocked with cooking tools and other necessities. Outdoor seating and fire pit are great. About a 25 minute drive to Red River Gorge.

Nice Getaway
The hosts were very easy to work with and provided a seamless check in process. The cabin has large decks on the front and back with ample seating. The kitchen is stocked well with essentials including grill and firepit utensils. It is a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of society. There is also a Dollar General and a Corner Market very close to pick up forgotten items. Recommend this sweet cabin for a peaceful getaway.

Lovely Thanksgiving getaway!
We spent Thanksgiving week at this property -- loved how quiet and peaceful and well-stocked it is! The owners have done a lovely job making it comfortable and the complimentary smores are indeed a nice touch! It's about 20 minutes very easy drive from this cabin to Natural Bridge State Park. The local IGA is 5 minutes away and well stocked, and there is a Red Box video near the local Dairy Queen, also very close by. Our teenagers loved the hammocks and the fire pit was also a huge hit. Plenty of space for two adults and three teenagers. WiFi is a little spotty, but that's to be expected in the country and did not phase us. Thank you so much!!

Home away from home
The cabin was great. The host was very responsive and the place had more than everything we needed. We were able to commute to Keeneland for the horse races as well as the Red River Gorge. The cabin was very homey and the porch areas were wonderful. The hike to the water fall and creek was great as well. Nothing but great things to say about this place.

Super relaxing and very clean
We stayed at this property this weekend. It was very clean and new. It rained all weekend but we still had a great time relaxing and recharging in this cozy cabin. We would definitely stay here again. Wendy was very responsive and helpful for anything we needed. The smores basket was an added touch of which we enjoyed the chocolate bars while still inside :)

Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The owners were kind enough to leave firewood and s’mores supplies for us. Even for our family of 6 - we had more than enough space. The outdoor space was amazing and the waterfall a short walk away was very nice.
