'Pros: Great location, basic kitchen (with an induction hot plate) that worked well for cooking our meals. the bed is comfortable and linens were good quality. Locally sourced coffee and cleaning/personal care items (I bought both to take home). Cons(or suggestions) There are 26 steps, with no railing, to reach the lower suite. Just be aware if you have any mobility issues. There was no towel rack in the bathroom (it looked like there had been one that broke off but just hadn't been replaced...

'Storm Bay is perfect for a couple wanting a secluded property but still in town. Walking distance to trails and beaches. Nice view of the inlet (others say you can't see the water but I believe a tree had to be removed so it is very pretty). The unit has everything you need to enjoy your stay, the bed is comfortable, a nice closet organizer for your belongings, a modern full kitchen with everything you need to cook your meals, and a BBQ on the deck. Very clean. The only thing you should take...

'We enjoyed our stay very much. Great views, lots of space (4 adults & 1 child), kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. Property was clean, well insulated and warm. Good/easy communication with property managers. Would definitely go back.'

'We had a great stay. Best feature is unit location with a view across end of harbor allowing for view of trail, seeing boats leaving and returning to marina (but not seeing marina), and plenty of eagle activity. Unit was comfortable, management very responsive. Hope to stay longer next time.'

'The property was perfect for our active family of four. The kids (9 and 7 years) enjoyed the novelty of the bunkbeds and the kitchenette was so great to have for easy breakfasts/lunches. Also the location being right on Terrace Beach was amazing for the kids to be able to run down to the beach for a quick walk before bed. '

"Wat een heerlijk fris hotel! Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel en we hebben heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant. Vlakbij het water en op loopafstand van alles in Tofino. "

Very small rooms

"Pictures only reflect the biggest accomodation. Our room even if quite expensive can not even hold 2 suitcases, we had to sort it out on the parking what to bring into the room. No TV, no place to store your clothes, no fridge…I wonder how you can say 5* in this case…sea view is partial, bathroom joins are not clean…all in all not a good price quality ratio…Breakfast should include different eggs and fresh juices at this price . Environment is beautiful though but effort could be done on the rooms and more transparency on site and lower price for these small rooms…"
