'Parking was limited we were lucky as there was hardly anyone else staying- this is a B&B Not a hotel and is a bit down at heel hasn’t had any investment for a while - but nice family/staff good breakfast - overpriced I’m afraid'

'Large bedroom and recently modernised en-suite. All clean and tidy. Nice and warm (4 day stay in January). Breakfasts were excellent and the food available for the evening meals in the pub part of the hotel was also good. All of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The car park is big. Breakfast does not start until 7.30am. You order it from the menu the night before and it was always ready for 7.30 for me, but I was there on business it left me quite tight for getting to my meeting...

'Rooms attached to a pub. The pubs very nice with really good food options. The staff were first rate and the room was surprisingly quiet. We stayed for three nights going to the races at Redcar and the sea side.'
