Deze schuilplaats cottage / cabine is volledig uitgerust met alles van huis. Geniet van de kreek geluiden van de veranda 's nachts kijken naar de vuurvliegjes dansen door. Brevard, NC ligt op slechts 20 minuten afstand, Dupont State Park ligt op 10 minuten afstand, Davidson River en Sliding Rock in Brevard is een hoogtepunt van Brevard. Pretty Place (Camp Greenville) op 10 minuten afstand, perfect voor huwelijksvoltrekkingen. Slaapkamers, Master heeft een kingsize bed op de begane grond, de loft op de bovenverdieping heeft een koningin en de slaapkamer die we Eagle's Nest noemen heeft een tweepersoonsbed en een tweeling in een leeszolder. Boven loft heeft ook een zitkamer.

We brought in the new year 2026 at this cabin. To our surprise, it was much better in person than the pictures. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep very warm feeling well and well decorated. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to go to the mountains. Caesars head State Park is nearby and Brevard and Pisgah Forest is a close drive.

Stay was very private. Loved the cabin and area. Cabin was clean. I’m picky about cleanliness. Host was very friendly. Liked having the gas fireplace. Kitchen was good. Only cooked once there. If you plan to cook a lot, bring aluminum foil, plastic wrap and baggies. Just make sure you bring your own spices. Also bring shampoo , body soap and a couple rolls of toilet paper. I would suggest putting trash cans in the bathroom. The only real problem we had is it smells like mold in guest room and bathroom. Oh, we had a bat in the house the first night. We didn’t leave any doors open. So I guess it was a squatter. There are so many things to see and do. Absolutely beautiful. We would definitely come back if the smell is resolved.

Beautiful and clean. Very nice neighbors across the street called the host for us, as we had no cell service there, and could not access our entry code. There was a musky smell in the small bath/laundry room. I think it was coming from the shower. Some sort of exhaust fan in there would probably help out.

Our family of 5 stayed for a visit to The Pretty Place Chapel. House was great, everyone had their own little personal space. Great location to not only The Pretty Place Chapel but many other sights like waterfalls, hiking trails, wonderful restaurants & coffee shops. Would say a 10 out of 10 trip!

Wonderful Cabin in the Trees to unwind

The cabin was very easy to find and very convenient having a drive in and out driveway. Lots of room for parking even we didn’t need it all. The outside made you feel like you were in a fairy wooded landscape and so beautifully green! The property is just breathtaking and so relaxing in the trees. You hardly ever hear your neighbors or see them. The firepit in the front of the house was very well setup and great chairs around it to enjoy almost every night. So many lightening bugs to count when we enjoyed fires. Very easy to get into the house with a code on the door. The kitchen was strange layout but nicely worked! Lots of options for cookware and a pull out trash can. The wood accents and floors all around were so beautiful and very well taken care of. Kind of strange without a shower in the master bath but we loved the rock floor shower in the main house bathroom. The washer and dryer were very convenient and nice machines. The master bed was so comfortable and a ton of room in the closet and dresser. The master tub was huge and a great spot to wind down. The family room area was super cozy. The back porch was used for so many hours the whole time we were there! We worked from there and enjoyed family time in the trees. The lovely hummingbird feeder was always a joy to watch our 3 visitors every day. Loved the cabin and wonderful hosts.

Relaxing place to stay

This beautiful cabin is well maintained and was a wonderful place to just relax. The area is lovely with lots to do and see. We enjoyed the waterfalls in the area. It was so refreshing to get up in the morning and drink a cup of coffee on the back porch. Overall just a great place to unwind and get recharged!

Amazing!!!

Bear Creek is nestled neatly in the woods near DuPont Forest and Brevard, NC in Cleveland, SC. Quaint, clean, comfortable, and private! Beautifully decorated and equipped with all the necessities to make it home away from home! Thankful for the gas fireplace for those cool mornings and evenings. Beds are super comfy! Everything was just perfect! So close to Pretty Place Chapel, Brevard, and all the waterfalls nearby. I was with 4 kids and we all enjoyed the exploring area around the cabin. Can’t wait to return!!

Perfect Ratings for a reason!!

We visited the area for my son's wedding at A Pretty Place chapel, and needed a place to stay for my family. It was so close to the chapel, less than 15 minutes away. This property had excellent ratings all the way around, that is why I chose it, and it was PERFECT! It had EVERYTHING you could wish for in a mountain getaway. The pictures do not do it justice, it far exceeded my expectations. I would love to visit again, I just need an excuse. You will not be disappointed.

Bear creek vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. We unfortunately were evacuated due to wildfires in the middle of the week and Jan was very helpful, caring and accommodating for us as we had to leave abruptly in the middle of the night. Otherwise the property is beautiful. The cabin is spacious and feels like home and we loved the kitchen and location to near rivers and waterfalls.

Restful Springtime Holiday

Perfect spot for a peaceful holiday in nature. Great location for walking trails and cycling. We also enjoyed spending time in Brevard. It's a lovely welcoming town with lots of creative vibes and a great bookshop. Earth Mountain Bicycle (bike hire/shop), Brevard Yoga Studio and Brevard Pottery are all highly recommended.

Time to relax and reset

Bear Creek is very inviting, well stocked and comfy. The back porch is amazing for morning coffee and the fire pit is perfect to end the night with a cocktail. Exactly what we needed to visit with dear friends, relax and reset after a few crazy months.

What a great place

Long weekend with some lifelong friends. This is a great property, very comfortable and inviting. All my communications with the owners were seamless and all questions answered quickly and completely. Small things add up, and you can tell that the owners have done a lot of little things that add a bit of an upscale feeling to a very comfortable place. I wouldn't hesitate to plan another trip here.
