'I loved the big room and the fact that there was no carpeting. My only reason for giving 4 stars is that the noise from upstairs, not the fault of the facility, was terrible all night long. Every footstep and door closing could be heard.'

'My husband, our 2 children and myself stayed at the property as part of our spring break. This place is awesome! This has got to be the most luxurious cabin we have ever stayed in. The pool/hot tub area was wonderfully maintained and the pool was warm upon our arrival. Plenty of firewood was provided and we used the indoor fireplace daily. Ample cooking supplies were provided, even skewers for smores which I had forgotten. The grounds and lake were expansive and private. Mr. and Mrs. Hockaday...

'Comfortable, cozy, quiet neighborhood, clean. Not sure there was anything else to ask from the property. It was a great place to spend an evening after traveling on a several day road trip. It was a very nice stay and I would stay there again.'

'Nicely renovated, very clean and quiet. Enjoyed eating in nearby Marquette eateries Lagniappe's, Steinhaus & Sol Azteca. Steinhaus was pricey but you will not be disappointed. This was our first visit to the Upper Peninsula and the waterfalls were beautiful. We covered a lot of ground between the Porkies and Tahquamenon State Park.'

'Great place to stay. The house was very clean, beds were comfy, and the game room in the basement was a great way to end our day. We had our dog with us and was nice to be able to walk her on the properties trails. Would definitely recommend this location as well as return for a future visit.'

'Heather is a fabulous, responsive host and the location could not have been better for our stay during the Marji Gesick. The house is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to a cute lakefront park. While the listing states there are 2 bedrooms, access to the second bedroom and the bathroom requires passing through the first bedroom, so it is not a truly private space, which is something to consider depending on who you are travelling with.'

'Was there for a quick weekend trip in the area. The host was friendly, the location was quiet, and the lake is beautiful. The host offers use of a Sauna if requested. The location is right next to an ATV/Snowmobile trail if this is something you are looking to do. The host lives on the property, but you likely will not notice them as they keep to themselves. Would stay again.'
