Positief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
We did have an issue with the heating unit the very first night but they were gracious enough to move us the very next morning for the rest of our stay.
We only had dinner in the dining room once but we all four were quite pleased. They were out of a couple of options, but in their defense, it was two nights after New Year's Eve and they were quite busy that night.
I did find it odd that every morning when we went to the small dining room, I couldn't eat my breakfast in peace because we felt 'watched' by the lady who, oddly enough, we got to watch crochet a blanket or something each morning.
The Continental breakfast is almost laughable. We tried to let the fact that they are way out in the middle of nowhere account for the fact that the apples were wrinkly and the oranges should have been thrown out a few days sooner. Can't explain why the Danishes stayed in the little clear cabinet day after day, were never wrapped, and were even there when we went to dinner at night.
Although most mornings, the scrambled eggs, potatoes and the sausage patties were quite tasty. One morning it looked like the sausage patties had been forgotten about, but we just poured pancake syrup over them.
Another problem was that on 3 mornings of it 5, we could hear the on-duty staff complaining about other staff members. This should never be done in front of guest.
