'Great place to stay, stayed here quite a few times over the last year or so, has everything you need, always clean and tidy. Never had any issues staying there. Good local amenities all within walking distance.'

'We had a great stay. The cottage had everything we needed, plus the lovely view. Findochty is a very photogenic village, so I was out and about taking photos at all hours! On our arrival we were welcomed by dolphins frolicking in the sea in front of the cottage. The evening before our departure we were treated to the sight of a pod of orcas cruising past, quite close to the shore. '

It was quiet, I loved the sheep grazing around the house. There is a lot to do and see in the neighberhood. If I was going to this part of the country, I would defenitively choose this house again! 'This was our second visit to The Boathouse this year and it was fantastic again. We love the setup and the view of Banff beach and the ocean. A very comfortable home from home that we highly recommend.We will be back'

'Lovely comfortable cosy apartment near to the marina and seafront. Perfect base to explore the Moray Coastal Trail, particularly the stretch from Lossie to Forres. Bars, shops, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. Apartment has everything you need. A basket full of local goodies was a particularly welcoming gesture.'

The accommodation on the website says shared bathrooms- not something we really wanted but nevertheless it turned out that we had a room with our own toilet and wash basin. 'Amazing house and facilities for our family of 8 adults and 5 children aged from 2 to 10 years. Everyone loved the indoor swimming pool snooker and table tennis. The children enjoyed the outdoor facilities. The nice weather was a bonus with lots of lovely walks. The facilities in the house were first class and I would highly recommend this property. Hopefully we will return for another family get together. '

"The hotel was superb! We had one of the whiskysuites. Very nice and cosy room. Superfriendly staff and the breakfast was amazing. Car park opposite to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to every especially when you like drinking whiskey. They have an amazing whisky bar !"
