'Beautiful property and lots of room for our extended family! (2 bedrooms with their own bathroom/shower! Plus two more bathrooms for the other 3 bedrooms.) Very conveniently located to our family wedding in Adare and within a couple hours of some great tours of Ring of Kerry and the Cliffs of Mohr. When we had an issue with the power in one of the bedrooms, the owner was there within minutes to help with the circuit breaker. We would highly recommend for a family gathering! '

'Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Have to say it’s the best entertainment system (choice of TV) I’ve ever had!Would definitely recommend -Joe contacted me to make sure everything was ok- I didn’t need anything else as everything was so good. 'We made the barricks property our home base for our family group of 9 while exploring Ireland and could not have asked for better accommodations! The restored property is absolutely beautiful! 'This was the perfect location and property for us as a family of 4 during our first trip to Ireland. David was a great host, giving us recommendations for things to do in town and local sites to visit. The cottage itself was comfy and adorable, and my kids loved waking up to check on Jake and Ted (the dogs) and the cows on the farm. We will definitely come back to this place in the future!'

"Nette kamer, goede voorzieningen. Groot en netjes. Gezellige bar. Restaurant chique, maar toch net niet helemaal. Beste ontbijt van Ierland was het zeker niet. Helaas tijdens verblijf 2 maal brandalarm rond 02.30u. Nachtrust daarna verdwenen, na in de lobby horen dat het vals alarm was. Hotel laat op geen enkele wijze blijken dat ze dit vervelend vinden voor de klant, zowel in de nacht niet als tijdens uitchecken (dagdienst wist van niks?!). Sla alsjeblieft de koffie (espresso) ook over (een van de slechtste ooit helaas). Geen lift, route naar kamer met bizarre kuil met trappen naar soort tussenverdieping."
