'Bij aankomst in het hotel geen enkele service m.t.t. onze bagage,wel een verzoek om een betaalkaart te nemen om het diner en drankjes mee te betalen. Toen we ons aanmelden bij het restaurant voor het diner, bleek er geen plaats meer tezijn.Het enige wat we konden in de grote zaal eten te bestellen.Na een drankje bestelt te hebben zag ik al de chaos onder te bediend personeel, dus bestelde maar in tempo iets te eten.Hier op hebben wij 1 1/2 uur op zitten wachten, en ondertussen steeds gevraagd...

'Loved this area and the hotel staff! Everyone super nice and helpful. The area was great! It had many shops and some restaurants. I recommend Ruby nail salons (great pedicure and massage chairs!). I also must mention that I had an excellent massage therapy session with Suzanne at Saatva Wellness Center! As to the hotel, dining was really good! On-site was a pool and sauna. Located near Braemar and all the area has to offer outdoor enthusiasts, the hostel offers a quiet and clean stay with use of the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and warm. 'Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+'
