'Simply beautiful, very very clean, so quiet out there and dark the stars are beautiful at night. Despite having a power outage for 14 hours, which was out of the owner’s hands, Edward did everything in his power to get us external power get us up and running. Large driveway lots of room to park. Fully equipped found everything we needed for a four day weekend. Will definitely visit back again.'

'The house was spacious, well-appointed and very quiet. The main problem for us was that there was no Wi-Fi. This surprised us. There was a smart TV, but we could not stream anything because there was no Wi-Fi. Also, the cellular signal was very weak (we use Koodo/Telus). My husband could not complete some work he wanted to do because of the lack of Wi-Fi. The very weak cellular signal meant he could not hotspot off his phone either. We enjoyed using the barbeque and the fire pit.'

'Our stay was okay however the property was quite messy and differed greatly from the online listing. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing.'

'We had a wonderful time. Gary is a great host. He was very welcoming, friendly and warm. His cottage was lovely. Perfect for a quiet retreat. The lake in the early morning and evening is so calm, just sit back and take it all in. In the early morning, you can see the mist lifting off the lake, perfect for that classic cottage picture.If you enjoy bass fishing, this lake is a great choice. We caught a great number of 3 to 4 pounders.Gary is very passionate about astronomy as many previous renters...

'The perfect slice of tranquility. We were immersed in nature. That means quiet, bird song and croaking frogs. It meant a visit from a tortoise, turkeys and the sound of whispering leaves. The cabin is well appointed and clean. It felt comfortable. It was the relaxing getaway... with ping pong and a little canoeing. The only downside was some mosquito bites... expect that when going into nature! Overall, it couldn't have been better. '

"Wow wat een verbogen parel! Wij hebben helaas hier maar één nachtje overnacht, maar wij konden zo meer nachten verblijven. Heerlijk in de natuur met veel groen en heerlijk rustig. Kamer zijn super schoon, veel handdoeken, badkamer compleet en de tuin is de moeite waard om een wandeling in te maken. Ook de host was super vriendelijk, geduldig en wij werden wakker met de enorm goede en lekkere blueberry pancakes! Enorm genoten van deze stop en wij komen graag weer een keer langs als we in de buurt zijn. Enige punt: Er is geen restaurant in de buurt, dus daar moet je even rekening mee houden. Daardoor wel weer heerlijk rustig. "
