My family and my friend's family stayed here for a relaxing getaway. We wanted to love the place, but it fell short. Check in was easy. The place had 4 bedrooms to accommodate all of us.
One bedroom had a barn door. The door didn't fully close and didn't lock, so there wasn't any privacy. My daughter and friend complained that their beds were hard. These are the twin beds in the smaller rooms. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable.
The house was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped, but could have provided a few larger pots. The umbrellas pictured were not available. One was broken upon arrival. The other was missing. Manager said it could have broken due to high winds. The house itself did offer some shade in the afternoon. The pool was not crystal clear and had leaves at bottom of it. Probably as a result of high winds as well. The spa is NOT heated. You need to pay the "pool heating fee" of $30 a night plus tax to heat it. This is not mentioned in description. According to the management, the pool and spa run on same pump, so both need to be heated. We contacted the rental company to have the pool and spa heated. The spa did get warm, but the pool remained cold. The spa also had a "mildew" smell. Not sure how often the pool is cleaned.
Another issue is the amount of paper towels and toilet paper provided. There was one roll of paper towels for our 3 night stay and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom for 8 of us. These were not big Charmin or Kirkland rolls. They seemed more like small rolls found at the dollar store. We had to run out and buy more paper towels and toilet paper. The house did include shampoo and body wash. Overall the place was average. The location was a little far from some of the main attractions and shopping areas.
