The room was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and pretty quiet after the restaurant closed for the night. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. The continental breakfast in the morning was a little disappointing, but adequate if you just want coffee and a bagel. Overall we enjoyed the visit and would not hesitate to visit again.

The Inn keeper was extremely helpful and informative about the history of the property. Continental breakfast was great. Restaurant was delicious and music was perfect for a St. Patricks celebration

We could not have been happier with our stay. Having a restaurant and bar on the property was wonderful. Food was delicious, staff friendly and helpful. The building is from the 1800’s and is beautiful. Definitely will visit again!

The rooms were clean and furniture well kept. No grab bars in shower or near toliet. About 15 old stsirs to vlimb ftom 1st to 2nd floor. Not handicap accessible. The food was excellent.

The Inn is beautiful and the staff is friendly. It took a while to get checked in, however. The bar and restaurant are lovely, as well as the rooms. It could be quite noisy in the evening but got quiet later in the evening. The restaurant is not open in the early morning, so “breakfast” is provided but it is extremely basic with coffee, juice, bagels and English muffins. There’s no variety and zero protein that leaves you quite hungry. I think adding maybe some Greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs or some other choices of protein would help. There’s no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms, so packing your own food is not an option and no place to store and reheat leftovers. Be prepared to carry any luggage or other items up a long, concrete ramp, through the bar area and up flights of stairs, depending on where your room is located. They did offer help with luggage going up, which was great but not when you check out. We placed the “Do not disturb” sign on the door but housekeeping still entrees our room to empty tears and replace towels. This didn’t sit will with us, as we had our sign up for a reason. It is an Inn and it’s understandable that many things a hotel would offer the Inn does not. The Inn is just beautiful and the food in the restaurant was good. Staff, again, was good.

To be honest, we only booked our room here because it was close to an event we were attending. But WOW! This is a great place! Really neat historical hotel. Our room was decorated with history in mind, so it looked like you walked back in time. However - everything was modern and very up-to-date. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was great - huge shower! The staff (everyone) was friendly and helpful. After the event, we had a drink at the bar and chatted with some very friendly locals. The beer selection was amazing. The dinner menu looked delicious - but we didn't have the opportunity to try it. We'll have to come back!

Not Perfect but for Price Charged, Excellent! Great History, Room, Bed, Bathroom, Staff, Food, Cocktails and Free Breakfast. My room was directly over the bar but I slept like a Sloth; no problem. Very nice people and breakfast of bagels, muffins, butter, cream cheese and surely home-made jam was fabu! Good coffee as well.. Def coming back..

Perfect place to Stay
Outstanding!! If you to get away from “cookie cutter” chain hotels, this is the place to go. Beautiful historic building, and well maintained. So many things to be happy about staying here: Clean! our room was very clean, you can tell that owners and staff take pride in this location. Bed was very comfortable, bedding was also high quality, very cozy for sleeping. Room had private bathroom with modern fixtures, also plenty of “fluffy towels” So much charm in the room as well, nice classic wood furniture (also in perfect condition) wood flooring. Cannot forget to mention the outstanding staff two, friendly and attentive. We could just go on and on. Highly recommend staying at Stottsville Inn

Dining and bar was a bonus ..and unexpected ..highest quality , excellent staff. Jillian waitress well trained , it showed . Kitchen ( I checked on my own ) clean modern , first class , Chef has mushroom soup..freshly made , local mushrooms ..one can tell immediately. Kate manager makes one welcome. Ava and Melody greeted at entry , pleasant and comfortable. Room well done esp for the age of the structure. rooms on second and third floor , not for the handicapped. ...18 steps to the secomd floor. I love old structures that are well cared for, and this is no exception. This is an old historic inn with great dining spaces on the first floor and rooms for guests upstairs. We were greeted immediately and within a minute were escorted to our room. It was a little small, but the king sized bed was super comfy. The bathroom was very clean with lots of nice thick towels. I would have liked a little more water pressure from the showerhead but it was ok. If you appreciate the uniqueness of a historic inn where the locals hang out and visitors feel welcome I highly recommend the Stottsville Inn.

Dinner under the stars with guitar players was delightful. Ordered a Moscow mule with Cosimigos tequila and it was an $6 upgrade charge. Asked for bread.. $5.50. I don’t like surprises when my bill comes. Service was good and the food was delicious! Our room was clean. No blow dryer and the pillow was way too firm. We had a lot of light coming through the door jamb and window blinds all night. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating.
