  • Wij zijn een luxe bestemming in Costa Rica met het meest spectaculaire uitzicht van heel Mal Pais. Wij zijn gelegen in de heuvels van Mal Pais op het hoogste punt met uitzicht op de stranden van Mal Pais, Santa Teresa en Hermosa. Op een heldere dag zie je 50 mijl kustlijn voorbij de stad Samara. Het huis is omgeven door en kijkt uit over de jungle van Mal Pais en grenst aan het natuurreservaat Cabo Blanco. Dit is een ongelooflijke locatie om de prachtige natuur te bekijken waar het gebied bekend om staat, waaronder de grote White Hawks van Costa Rica. De omliggende jungle wemelt van de brulaap en witgezichtige apen die vaak rond het huis te zien zijn en de overvloedige vruchtbomen en bloeiende bomen foerageren.

    De locatie is een perfect uitje voor een groep van 4-16 gasten. Het heeft 5 slaapkamers en 6 badkamers in het hoofdgebouw met uitzicht op de oceaan, en de optie om een appartement op het terrein te huren voor extra kosten voor groepen groter dan 12 gasten. Alle slaapkamers en badkamers in het hoofdgebouw hebben een balkon met een spectaculair uitzicht op de oceaan. Een extra slaapkamer, badkamer en zolder zijn beschikbaar in het pension voor 6 personen (geen uitzicht op de oceaan). We hebben een groot Infinity zwembad omgeven door een open patio die perfect is voor kleine intieme bruiloften en andere sociale evenementen. Er is een terras en een zithoek met een barbecue. Er zijn extra buitenruimtes met veel zitplaatsen. Het is moeilijk te beschrijven hoe ongelooflijk mooi dit uitzicht is! Als u eenmaal in het Vista Real-zwembad ontspant in de schaduw van de palmbomen, weet u dat u de juiste keuze hebt gemaakt voor uw vakantie. Het is gewoon adembenemend!

    Het gebied staat bekend om zijn surfen, yoga, vogels kijken, paardrijden, zip-lijnen, vissen, ATV-tochten en een overvloed aan dieren in het wild. Onze conciërge kan helpen bij het regelen van vele prachtige en memorabele excursies. Het gebied beschikt ook over 63 restaurants en vele prachtige markten, dus het is heel gemakkelijk om goed eten te vinden. Lokale koks zijn ook te huur.

An amazing stay!

Everyone had a fantastic time. The accommodations were perfect for a family of 9. Everyone had their own bed, and the house was big enough that when someone wanted go hide for a quiet time there was lots of areas to do this! Soraya did an awesome job of looking after us and the staff on site were very very accommodating!

Villa Vista Really Great

The pictures don’t do the home and setting justice! Wonderful pool for kids and adults. The house staff is stellar. The road up the mountain is rough and steep so 4wd is imperative. It’s worth the ride.

Villa Vista Real

We spent two weeks at Villa Vista Real with family and friends, and it was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. The views from the home are breathtaking, the house is even more amazing than the pictures, and the beds were very comfortable. Soraya, Martin and Blanca were there to help us with any requests throughout our stay and made sure that everything went smoothly. You need a 4x4 vehicle to get up the driveway, but the trek is worth it for the views. We will definitely be back some day!

Great home for those ready for adventure

This place is fantastic. It is very remote making the quality of the residence even more impressive. You absolutely need to have 4wd vehicles and get ready for the adventure up the hill to this amazing perch. Soraya is very easy to work with and can arrange for almost anything during your stay. Daily monkey visits were common and the four families staying together had plenty of room to spread out. If you are up for getting away from the rest of the crowd this is the place for you! Thank you for sharing this home!

An Oasis In The Jungle

We just returned home from one of the nicest vacations we have ever had. The home and surrounding grounds were meticulously cared for, offering a relaxing getaway after our days of exploring the area. Soraya is a wonderful property manager who helped guide us through all we might need for the week. From ordering ATVs delivered, to providing our wonderful cook Margarita, there was no request to big or small. We were a party of 10 with 3 children aged 10-12 and there was more than enough room for everyone to relax comfortably throughout the house. The owners have obviously put so much thought into every detail making it the ideal vacation home. We can’t wait to come back.

This is an absolutely amazing property! House is sprawling and gorgeous, with amazing views from every room. So much room for a group! I have never had better service. We had a couple of small issues that were corrected immediately. It was perfect for us to be halfway between busy Santa Teresa and the quiet coast to the south with the charming town of Montezuma with its waterfalls and boat access to Tortuga island. The road is rough but so worth it!

Amazing Location!

This property is incredible and absolutely worth the effort to get to! The views are stunning and the surrounding nature is a joy to watch. Soraya was very pleasant to work with and we were incredibly well taken care of by all of the staff. I could not recommend this property any more!

What an unbelievably beautiful Villa!!!

I can not even put into words how unbelievable Villa vista Real is! Photos do it no justice, the staff Geraldo and Blanca, she showed up with fresh fish for us one am, were all 5star! Soraya is an amazing host and so very helpful with reservations, reconditions, getting ATVS and just making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves! The nature, animals, views make this the most beautiful places I’ve stayed! The sunsets are like no other and the sunrise is so peaceful! Truly five stars, we ended up at Villa Vista Real, due to our reservation being cancelled due to a covid out break- everything happens for a reason couldn’t be more applicable here! Already planning our return! Thank you for everything, showing our girls our favorite place on earth was so much better staying with you!! ❤️🏄‍♂️✌️

Remote Location.. Ideal for a Quiet Secluded Getaway

To begin, the property manager Soraya was just awesome to work with. Extremely accommodating. We also developed a lovely rapport with the grounds and house keeper. Very kind people. The location offers views second to none. Abundant opportunity to enjoy regional wildlife on the doorstep. We saw monkeys, toucans, iguanas, some weird little pig/rodent type animal, plenty of gorgeous butterflies, and an array of other birds as well. The sunsets are extraordinary, easily the highlight at the property!!!! If you are arriving by your own (rented) vehicle, there is NO OPTION but to have a 4x4. An “all-wheel” drive won’t cut it. We also rented quads and a side-by-side which was a HUGE advantage for going to Montezuma and into Santa Teresa. The property has a very well equipped kitchen, which was a plus for our family as we love to cook. If you are looking for test and relaxation….look no further!!!

Absolutely Amazing View Property

10 out of 10. We were three families, with 6 teens and 7 adults and all had a spectacular stay. The property is absolutely amazing. Late risers were waking up early because they wanted to enjoy the views from this mountain top property overlooking one of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches. House is really well designed for big groups, with plenty of areas for all to spread out, or be together. House staff was excellent and very helpful. Property was extremely clean and had all the conveniences of home. Internet was down for the duration of our stay, but not the owners fault, it was a gov-run cable company issue. Worked in our favor, since the kids put down their electronics. Dirt road to the property is a good off-road adventure. Honda Pilots and Volvo SUV all made it to the top with no issues, just have to take it slow. The trek up the mountain is worthy every minute, since the breezes are great, less bugs and the sunset views are spectacular. We hope to return. A true paradise and Costa Rican gem property.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed

Our group of 10 could not believe the beauty of Villa Vista Real. The view from the pool area alone is worth a 5 star review. The infinity pool leads to 180 degree views of the ocean and a beautiful sunset every afternoon. That leads to the house... the house looks to be completely renovated on the inside. The rooms have A/C, which provide a comfortable sleeping experience for all. You can also open almost all the doors and really bring the beauty of the outside in. One of the most enjoyable spaces of the house was the bathrooms... every bathroom features a great view of the ocean. I found myself finding reasons to take a shower multiple times a day just to enjoy the view and the peacefulness. The family that stayed on site were very nice, cleaned the kitchen every day, and were there when we needed them but kept our privacy as well. Soraya was a great host and totally helped us with everything we needed. She set up ATV rentals, that were delivered to the house, and arranged for a cook to come our last night. The ATVs are necessary as the road to the house is very steep and pretty long. They also give you the flexibility to go wherever you want, whenever you want. The chef Soraya set up for us really prepared a great meal and allowed us to enjoy the house and not worry about getting a restaurant for 10 people. Overall, a great experience and upon leaving, our group was already talking about our next trip back. Thank you for everything!

Mejor imposible!!

We stayed for a week in Mal Pais we were three families the house is wonderful, every room with bathroom, great view and a lot of space, the pool is beautiful, the views and sunsets are incredible. The people who work there are very nice. Soraya help us with everything we need We are looking forward to come back again soon.

MY FAVORITE VACATION (OF MANY!) BECAUSE OF VILLA VISTA REAL!!!

We booked Villa Vista Real for a one week vacation with friends! The entire group was made up of 5 couples & 10 children ages 1-12 years old and this house was perfect for our group! Saying that our week at Villa Vista Real exceeded our expectations would be an understatement! The first thing I must mention is how helpful the owner of the property was in coordinating everything for us! From questions about the weather, to asking about excursions we could do, and arranging everything we wanted with his property manager! The owner is incredibly easy to work with and helpful with every question we had! The next person I must mention is Soraya the property manager! She gathered all of the groceries we requested before we arrived and came nearly everyday to help with any additional requests that we had! Soraya organized a trip to the beach for our group, as well as an outing to go ziplining! She arranged the cars, and anything our group wanted. There was 1 incident where 1 car was late to come pick us up, and Soraya quickly called and had another driver at the house within 5 minutes! She is amazing! The third person who far exceeded our expectations was Chef Jade. Before arriving we had hired a chef to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for each day of our vacation. This freed everyone up to just enjoy the stay, without worrying about such a large group going out. Chef Jade's cooking was amazing and every lunch and dinner was always something different and delicious! And then there was the house!!! It is the perfect home for a group to have fun and relax! It features an open concept living/dining/kitchen with gorgeous views from every room! Each bedroom has an attached full bathroom and a breathtaking view of the ocean! The chef stayed in the guest house which does not have a view, but it allowed her to get up before us & get breakfast ready by the time we woke up. The house has a sound system that syncs with your iphone/ipad, so we had a soundtrack of great music playing everyday, and spent most of our mornings and afternoons in and around the infinity pool. There is also a deck with seating built into the side of the mountain where we had hours of great conversation! The mountain makes for invigorating early morning walks and we enjoyed the sunset each night from the pool! It has been 1 month since the trip & we are still texting about all the memories that were made at Villa Vista Real! This house has made this our best trip yet!

Paradise with phenomenal views!

Recently back from a 2 week stay in Costa Rica where we had the pleasure of staying for the first half of our week in Malpais at Vista Villa Real. The view and accommodations were gorgeous! There were 14 of us and the 5 bedrooms and the cottage on the property was more than enough room for all of us. There was not a disappointing view from the property and all of the bedrooms had spectacular views (and several bathrooms had exceptional views as well!). (no view from the cottage however we had children staying in there so it wasn't as important to them). We spent most of our time in the huge outdoor living space. In the mornings you could hear the howler monkeys throughout the jungle and see and hear the variety of birds. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and we made several of our meals at the house. The main living area in the house is simple, nothing too special but most of us utilized the outside space, which as I said was pretty exceptional! Unexpected nice surprise was a family that lived on the property who kept good care of the outside and cleaned up after us on the inside as well. They were there to help with any maintenance issues. They were not an imposition at all. We all felt very safe. The house is located about 10 minutes or so away from stores (up a steep bumpy mountain) so we needed to plan accordingly for groceries. I especially want to mention Soraya, the property manager, as she did an excellent job in setting up car rentals, shuttles , ATV rentals and picking up some groceries for us prior to our arrival. She then also helped us with a bit of an emergency situation we encountered with medications and doctors. Mary's restaurant was wonderful and I had the best breakfast burrito at Banana Beach Beachfront Grill which was one of my best meals in Malpais (the tuna burger was very good there as well). We loved Montezuma and from there we did snorkeling at Tortuga Island and deep sea fishing as well. Also the waterfall hike. Several of the children got sick while we were there and hanging out at the house was not and inconvenience, lots of space to recline, relax and read! Maybe one recommendation would be to have beach chairs and umbrella on property for use because we were such a large group we weren't always able to get chairs and umbrella's on the beach. I would love to return to Vista Villa Real in the future and I would definitely recommend especially if you are traveling with a large group like ours!

an amazing property and experience

I will start by saying that when I opened the door to the house and walked though to discover its incredible view, infinity pool and open layout I had the biggest smile. The house is even nicer in person than in the photos of videos. It perches high above the beaches and town, viewing over hills covered in jungle. Town is all beneath the trees, so the view is jungle with just a few homes popping up. Each bedroom is so large, and has a beautiful bathroom. Windows throughout the house are floor to ceiling and fold open to create an amazing connection to the nature that surrounds the house. There was no arguing over bedrooms, because everyone was immediately happy. The house is extremely well managed. Soraya and Terri were there by phone or email for anything we needed; directions, reservations, questions. The house also has a great staff of 2 who live discreetly on the property, and clean the house daily, launder sheets and towels, water the garden and clean the pool. It was a surprise and an amazing convenience. My whole family felt extremely lucky to have found this amazing house, and have had this calm and beautiful experience. Mal Pais and Santa Teresa are beautiful, beaches are great, surfing is great, and the food was all very good. Was hard to leave, will certainly return.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

The best view of the coastline and definitely the best sunsets in Mal Pais. The property is amazing and very well maintained. the pool was clean and cool and I enjoyed it especially in the afternoon after walking up the hill driveway for exercise. It was a short drive to the beach and the fishing village and some fantastic places to eat. We did paddle boarding, four wheeling on rented quads, fishing with the Pangas in Mal Pais and sightseeing from Monntezuma to Manzanilla. The couple who take care of the property were always friendly and helpful. THE BEST vacation rental so far for me! Lots more to do didn't have enough time to try the zip line jungle tours or go mountain biking. Great surfing also but I don't surf. Next time I will rent a kayak and go fishing and paddling.

Amazing place

This has to be one of the most beautiful homes in the area. The view from any bedroom, the patio, kitchen, and pool is absolutely incredible. Best sunset over the ocean I've ever seen. The home itself is very nice and clean. A short drive down the hill will get you to a town with shopping, many great places to eat, and nice beaches.

Breath taking

Beautiful home with great view.The house has a modern open plan .Great for travling with a family or a romantic getaway.The house sits on top of hilltop not far away from town. It's has great privacy with the Pacific Ocean view below .Loved it and the town which has many wonderful things to do and places to eat!

Amazing view in luxurious surroundings.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 weeks and loved every moment. The views from each room are amazing. The bathrooms are luxurious. We loved relaxing by the pool and hearing the ocean. We saw monkeys in the trees on the property several times. It was the most amazing and relaxing vacation I have ever been on. There are no views that can compare to it. There many many activities just minutes from the property. We enjoyed the ocean, horseback riding on the beach, zip lining, and delicious cuisine. I would return here without hesitation.

This place is breathtaking. Have stayed here twice each time was better than before. The view is unlike any I've seen ,can't put into words. Will be here again very soon.
