'Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. '

'The location was great with a lovely sea view. All the staff were pleasant especially Josh who helped with bags . My only complaint is the standard of the room. It's very dated and needs TLC . Plaster falling off some of the walls. No bedside tables. Old shower curtain. Also breakfast was extra. We spoke with other people who was staying at another hotel cheaper rate with breakfast included. I wouldn't book again.'

'We arrived about 3pm and were met by a cheerful lady who welcomed us and showed us our rooms. The rooms were clean and tidy and totally adequate for what we wanted and expected. All the amenities worked and it all smelt fresh. We got freshened up, had a walk around the village (Stunning views) then came back to eat at the hotel. The place was starting to fill up a bit by 6pm and we chose our meals from the varied and traditional menu. The meal arrived without too much of a wait and it was piping...

'Such friendly service, great rooms, lovely and quiet, very nice beds and pillows, fantastic room. Paring right outside the door. My second time staying here, would heartily recommend.'

'Lovely spot for adventures into Snowdonia or wanders around Barmouth. Very easy check in although the description to the house and map isn’t quite right. Asked a local in the end.'
