We have been travelling for 22 days so far and this was well up with the best accomodation. Not flash or large, but very clean, comfortable and friendly.

'We spent a wonderful 5 nights here to explore the cognac region. The staff are fantastic, the gardens beautiful, and the food absolutely superb. They have a large selection of cognacs to taste too. Even though the mattress was a little too firm for our liking, we still slept well. A wonderful place to stay and would love to return. '

'The hotel was converted from an old distillery. Everything looks and feels ultra modern; if you like ultra modern, then it's good. Because of the conversion, things seem spread out. It took us a little effort to find the restaurants. The restaurant has a Michelin star and is good. The brasserie is great. Also, plenty of parking space. '
