Aardig hotelletje in Tortuguero
Hotel Tortuguero Natural is een eenvoudig maar net hotelletje vlak bij het centrum geschikt voor reizigers die niet teveel luxe zoeken. Het hotel ligt op een andere locatie dan die op google maps is aangegeven. Voordat je aan boord van de boot naar Tortuguero gaat wordt je opgevangen door een gids die weet in welk hotel je zit. Bij aankomst is er iemand die je naar het hotel brengt. Neem een excursie met een van de bootjes door de rivieren. deze kun je regelen terwijl je op de boot naar Tortuguero wacht. Voor mij was Tortuguero een van de hoogtepunten van Costa Rica!

The Cabinas is close to the beach with shower at entrance so you can wash feet or body before getting to your room. The staff are kind, even if difficult to communicate at times as some don't speak English, but they do their best. The hammocks are a pleasure in the afternoon. There is a common area with tables that you can have your meals which is very useful. The room was clean, beds very comfortable, it was fee hot days when we were there and ceiling fan and separate fans were helpful. The shower water was running well and warm, if needed. Overall, happy to stay there as it feels closer to what local accomodations look like instead of a typical hotel room, so it made it a special memory

Could not be closer to the beach. Green macaws in the field in front upon arrival and in the trees during morning coffee. Greeted with best papaya batido of whole trip.

Met by very friendly and helpful staff and a welcome cold fruit drink. We were given lots of information about local attractions and help with our ongoing travel plans. Accommodation was comfortable and spacious.

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Bien situé,au calme,proche du centre et de l'océan. Chambre propre et colorée. Personnel très sympathique ( une personne parle français) , cocktail de bienvenue et petit cadeau. Café et thé à disposition.

Prix, situation géographique excellent, salle de bain besoin de rafraîchissement. Ce n'est pas un bed and breakfast puisqu'il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner, juste possibilité de faire café et thé a la réception

Best hotel ever!
WHAT AN AMAZING HOTEL. The staff is wonderful. The room is cozy and the town is just fantastic. My partner and I ended running behind and missed the last boat. The hotel staff quickly found us a private boat and made sure to text us updates. The captain of the boat was happy to edit till the rain stopped so we didn't get soaked. Once we arrived the staff welcomed us with fresh fruit juice. Our whole stat they were attentive. They were happy to answer out questions and give us advice. The location is perfect. Close to the beach and a short walk to town. Finally on our last day the boat left at 2pm check out was at 11am. The staff simply told us to keep our room till departure. The hotel was simply amazing!!!

Das Tortuguero Natural hat zwar nur 2Sterne, ist aber dennoch zu empfehlen. Es ist super sauber und die Mitarbeiter dort sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben Bernd kennengelernt, einen Guide, der dort tätig ist. Wir haben mit ihm eine tolle Nachttour gemacht.

Prefect in every way for us
We had an excellent stay at Tortuguero Natural. As we arrived we all received a refreshing slush. Everything was super clean. The lady was helpful with every question. They have a fridge for public use. It’s about 150 to 200 meters from the beach. Breakfast was included in our booking. The restaurant where you get your free breakfast is close to where the boat landing is. What a great breakfast. Its a la carte so you can choose just about anything. When we checked out they even gave us a gift for our little grandchildren. If ever back in Tortuguero we would choose to stay there again.

Exactly as advertised. Simple, clean hotel, perfect location off a side street. Very helpful staff, breakfast a pleasant walk into town centre. Water coffee and tea always available. Lots of fans. It is rustic but clean. It was nice hearing the choir practice next door!

The hotel as a charm to it and the location is excellent. The owner is very nice but you must speak Spanish which is ok since you are in Costa Rica after all. She gave us umbrella for our stay which we really appreciated since it rain a lot over there, no dry season. The only complaint that I would have is the lack of air conditioning, the ceiling and stand fan move air around but when is muggy outside it doesn't do the job. But overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very colourful and rustic. Quiet, good location. Tea and coffee available all day. Welcome drink, very friendly staff. Enjoyable stay. Good value for money, excellent breakfast included off site from the hotel, at a restaurant on the Main Street.

Die Unterkunft ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und unser Zimmer war vom Standard her sehr niedrig. Das Badezimmer ist sehr alt und alles stark abgenutzt und nicht gut gepflegt. Die Dusche wurde allerdings schnell heiß, das war positiv! Frühstück gibt es in einem Café in der Nähe. Das war lecker. Lage und Personal waren sehr gut, der Rest leider nicht optimal. Schade.

Simple hotel near the sea and the village
Great location, very near the sea and the village. Room cleaned everyday and new towels provided. Fruit drink on check-in, we got a gift when we departed. Tour company working with the hotel is high quality. No air conditioning so fans are needed 24/7. Not a high-end hotel but the quality was equivalent to the price.

Tortuguero was a wild experience- it rained torrentially for 40% of our stay - and it was a great experience, though our tours were “rained out”. The guides were willing, but it was too overwhelming for us :)

Das Zimmer ist geräumig, farbig und sehr gut gelegen. Die Mitarbeiter waren enorm freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir empfehlen 3 Nächte zu bleiben. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Nicer place in Tortuguero
This hotel was one of the nicest places to stay that we saw in Tortuguero village. The staff, a husband and wife team, were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well taken care of and they were eager to make us feel welcome. There is very easy access, a short walk on a path, directly to the beach/ocean area.

Worth the price
Great location. It is really hot and no ac but no hotels in Tortuguero have ac. It’s a 3 min walk from the boat or restaurant so make sure you bring appropriate luggage as there is no roads so you walk to the hotel. The staff was so friendly. These rooms are meant for sleeping and showering so the price is amazing. I felt very safe here as well. Remember to bring lots of Colons as there’s only one bank machine.

Lindo hotel, bien ubicado
Nos alojamos en familia, con 4 niños en dos habitaciones triples. La atención del personal fue excelente!! El hotel esta muy cerca del centro y también muy cerca de la playa. Las habitaciones son cómodas, muy limpias y además hay un salón con juegos y otro donde las 24 hs encontras café listo para servirte, agua y la posibilidad de hacerte un té del sabor que elijas. Una muy buena opción!

Comfortable stay in Tortuguero
We had a comfortable stay at Tortuguero Natural, the room was large enough with 4 beds, and the shower had good pressure. However the water is not always hot, the secret is to regulate the pressure. Hosts are discrete and will stay out of your hair unless you need something. They were kind enough to lend us umbrellas as well as offered laundry services.

Séjour très agréable de par le confort et la propreté de la chambre ainsi que l accueil chaleureux et la gentillesse des proprietaires. La situation de l hostel est egalement très bien car entre le centre et la mer.. A conseiller.....
