1903 Ambachtsman huis prachtig gerestaureerd en ingericht om Colorado charme te brengen. Gratis breedband-WiFi inbegrepen. Loop naar het centrum van tientallen en tientallen restaurants en brouwerijen en geniet van een rustig interieur en een achtertuin. Het volledige bad op de begane grond beschikt over een groot bad op klauwpoten en bubbelbombs. 3 slaapkamers met vier bedden (1x queen, 1xfull en 2x twins) voor 6 personen en de woonkamer heeft een futon en een grote chase lounge voor maximaal 8 volwassenen in totaal. Langer verblijf? pak licht in en gebruik de hoog rendement wasmachine en droger. Directe tv met meer dan 1.000 kanalen. Keuken heeft alle voorzieningen voor koken en entertainment nodig, en de koelkast / minibar is altijd gevuld met bier en wijn beschikbaar voor aankoop.

Laundry room had piles of either dirty or unfolded laundry. Bathrooms not too clean in corners/behind toilet was awful. Had to walk up to houses to find numbers. House itself it pretty cute but needs some cleaningFor sure.

Overall we enjoyed this stay. The location was great and the space worked very well for our family of 5. We fit comfortably, enjoyed game time, watched movies, and each person had their own space to sleep. Having 2 bathrooms was great, too! The house had a bad odor while we were staying signaling a possible plumbing problem. We were grateful for the air fresheners all around the house- sprays and plug-ins. It also seemed like some items were not stocked, such as dishwasher detergent. We stayed for 2 nights, and it worked for us for that time frame, but may have not enjoyed it if we were there longer.

Worked for what we needed

This place was fine for what we needed. It was a good distance (driving) from any of the things we wanted to do (10 minutes or less to restaurant areas, 15 to Garden of the gods) but wasn't in a walkable area. Space had what you needed but not updated at all (this is clear from the pictures so i knew what we were getting. )

Avoid at all costs!

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with vrbo type stays. The listing is fully misleading. Mainly being that there is no central ac & only 2 window units. One upstairs in queen bedroom & one in the kitchen. It was super hot end of June & we could hardly fall asleep. No curtains & therefore no privacy in the downstairs “bedroom” which had double door glass window doors. The place was very rundown, stains on the window covering, bathroom was chipped everywhere, & the showers were much too short. One of our group is 6’7” & couldn’t shower comfortably. The fridge is unlevel & there was dust on the shelves.Main issue was the “host”. He wasnt the owner but was the one that answered messages. He was fully unapologetic about the misleading listing & lack of AC. When the downstairs “neighbors” came pounding on our door at 2 am &honking their horn excessively because they had a flight & needed me to move our car. I reached out &asked him to notify them of the parking rules, he told me I was in the wrong for parking in the driveway & they should honk& wakeup everyone at 2 AM. The rules stated that we could park in front of the house or in the driveway, but to not park in the driveway during business hours. I assumed whoever lived there needed to leave for work& passed along the rule to my group. The curb in front of the house is very tall &scraped the bottom of our rental, & only had room for two cars so we would park two in front & one in driveway. Save yourself& avoid!

Inexpensive, adequate and clean

We stayed here for my daughters graduation and chose it because we needed three bedrooms and we wanted to be close to her house and CC. It was an inexpensive stay for three bedrooms which was nice. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The bathrooms were clean as well. The furniture in the upstairs bedrooms is very barebones and the beds were not very comfortable. That being said I realize that this was a very affordable option for our family. I would suggest new pillows at the very least. We did have a good stay, the house was quiet and mostly comfortable.

A hidden gem!

We loved this property and were very comfortable during our stay. We were a little worried when we pulled up but the apartment in the back was clean and neat - and had all the amenities we needed, including a washer/dryer. Highly recommend.

Great location, property could use some upgrades

Right by downtown strip on Tejon and easy walking access to shops & restaurants. Communication w the property owner was easy and checkin straightforward. Some assortment of board games, childrens games & books were available which was great (we always forget to pack those). The property could use some upgrades for comfort, primarily better mattresses on the beds and larger/heavier curtains to block street lights & sounds.

Great place and Great location

The location was phenomenal. It was really cute and cozy.Only issues, it is a little deceptive that you have laundry access. The occupants that live on the property and share washer and dryer left stuff in both the washer and dryer the entire time of our stay (five nights).That was really difficult with a family and my parents not to be able to wash. Finally the night before we left we took there stuff out and put it on top to wash one load but when we got back to change it over they had already put another load in so we were only able to wash one load.I would recommend a deep clean. The beds were clean and visable areas, but under any furniture (kids toys roll under ect) it looked like it had not been moved and cleaned in a bery long time.Parking on the street can be crowded/challenging.Overall I would stay again. It was the most reasonably priced in that area, actually a bit of a steal. We were basically in walking distance of downtown and the out door skating rink. Beds were comfortable, and made to feel very homey it had a great vibe for Christmas time!! It suited our families needs very well.we were able to cook our Christmas meal in the kitchen with no issues. Almost a perfect score the main issue for us personally was the laundry.if that isn't a big deal to you I'd say it's the perfect spot.

Cozy older home

We arrived when dark and outside lighting was very dim so could not see house number and 614 on side of house but that corresponds to basement or lower level apartment. House good for us but "tight" shower and tub. We didn't really use kitchen other than to make hot chocolate but seemed well equipped. Pans were pretty worn down if we would have needed to cook. There was also a large sticker stuck on my clean towel but luckily saw it before I got scratched/poked Otherwise great stay and host let us rent The Shinning on their Prime to watch after visiting the Stanley hotel. Made lots of amazing memories.

Overall my friend and I had a good time! The view from the front yard was very pretty and the location was very convenient! Checking in was a bit of a struggle and getting in touch with the host took a while. It was only a short delay and luckyly we got in after a few hours! Gave us time to explore the nearby places.. I do want to thank the host for a comfortable experience.

We wanted to be near our family and this home was lovely. The old craftsman features (wood trim, clawfoot tub) were beautiful but we enjoyed the updated kitchen. The dining room table was nice to be able to sit and eat at.

Convenient location and clean

The house is convenient to downtown Colorado Springs, making it easy to access everything we needed. There were great dining options within walking distance. However, the home is smaller than the photos suggest. It was clean and decently stocked, but the living room couch was replaced with an uncomfortable IKEA sofa that fits only 4 people closely. The only other seating options are the 3 wooden chairs and 2 decorative chairs in the dining area. All beds were uncomfortable and felt like sleeping on the floor. The twin beds upstairs are especially unsuitable for adults, as the mattresses are too thin to provide support. One major disappointment was the list of checkout chores included in the check-in email. We booked because the VRBO listing didn’t mention these tasks, and we paid a $70 cleaning fee. As someone with a disability, stripping beds and taking out trash was not feasible for me. This should have been disclosed in the listing. While the house was clean and functional, it wasn’t comfortable, and none of us were able to get proper rest during our stay.
