Welkom in dit grote prachtige moderne huis in Colorado, dat op meer dan 6 hectare privé in de Shilo Ranch Estates ligt. Gelegen in een prachtig gebied op slechts 20 minuten rijden van Colorado Springs - dit huis heeft de privacy die men wenst op een locatie die handig is voor veel voorzieningen.

Rijd de privérit op en geniet van de adembenemende woning en het prachtige moderne eigentijdse stucwerkhuis. Meadow Pine is uitzonderlijk verzorgd en professioneel ingericht met een warme mix van verfijnde Europese country club-stijl en immense old school-charme. De grote gebogen ramen zorgen voor zonovergoten ochtenden. Neem plaats aan de ontbijttafel en geniet van het prachtige glooiende landschap. Geniet van de verschillende uitzichten van binnen naar buiten dankzij het open concept dat dit huis heeft. Het huis is voorzien van houten vloeren in de moderne keuken en toegangsweg, maar geniet van het warme gezellige tapijt onder uw voeten in de rest van het huis op koude Colorado-nachten. Boven geniet van een kingsize bed met prachtig beddengoed in de slaapkamer, groot hoofdbad, steek een paar kaarsen aan om te genieten van een jacuzzi en geniet van uw zorgen. Lekker liggen met een goed boek en geniet van de 3-zijdige open haard omringd door uw dierbaren. Ga terug naar de dagen van de traditionele game-avond in de speelkamer op de begane grond - waar gezinnen samenkomen met warme chocolademelk, popcorn, een glimlach en veel gelach.

Tijdens de winter tijd doorbrengen genieten van het pand en alles wat Colorado te bieden heeft. Bundel je op die koude maar zonnige dagen in Colorado en maak sneeuwengelen of Frosty de sneeuwman. Daarna wordt het warm en gezellig in de rec kamer beneden, klik op de open haard en bekijk een film op de 42 inch led televisie (1 van de 3 led tv's in het huis). Tijdens de lente en zomer stap je op het grote dek, kijk je naar vogels, tel je de konijntjes of geniet je van het andere wilde leven in Colorado - of speel je een spelletje familievries op het grote grasveld.

Dit huis slaapt comfortabel 8-12 personen. Wasserij is op de begane grond en
er is een garage voor 3 wagens met volledige toegang die u kunt gebruiken.

Ideal layout and amazing view

We stayed here over Christmas, visiting family living in the area. Our extended family is too large to stay in one house now, so some of us stayed at VRBO's. (We weren't here during the day, just used it for sleeping and breakfast.) The layout of this house was perfect for our group - 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main level plus 2 bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs. Spacious living area and an excellent view of Pikes Peak from the huge windows! The house was nicely decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas tree and fresh flowers. We did not have any issues, and the owner was quick to respond to inquiries. We would stay here again1

Big, beautiful home

I wish we'd have spent more time in this house. It's absolutely gorgeous and comfortable and convenient. We gathered for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and spent most of the time at their place in High Forest Ranch. It was great for my husband and I, our kids and grandkids to have a big place to spread out and come back to. Very clean. Lovely views. Highly recommend for big families.

Views,views, and more views!

Coming from south Texas the views couldn't have been any better. The house was immaculate and we arrived to fresh flowers on the table. A welcoming touch especially after being on the road for over 18 hours. Kitchen is well furnished, as well as, the bathrooms, which had thoughtful amenities like shampoo, lotion, etc.. Beds were cozy with plenty of pillows and nice linens. The house is very spacious with enough room for all 8 of us to have some solidarity if needed. We were concerned about the location being too far from the main attractions, but it was just far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle, yet, close enough that the drive wasn't bad at all. We do recommend timing your outings so that you don't hit rush hour traffic. It's a peaceful community with plenty of space for kids to romp and play safely outside. I especially, enjoyed waking to see the horses grazing in the pastures. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope we are able to return next year. Kind regards, The Holmes Family

Wedding, Family Time, and Sightseeing

We came to Colorado for our son’s wedding and stayed in this beautiful home with our other sons and their families. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the beauty of Colorado visiting many attractions in the area. Communication with our owner was timely before and during our stay. Awesome Place!

Came in town with family for my niece's wedding. Loved the location of the property. Beautiful countryside! There is not much around for groceries or other stuff so stock up. We absolutely loved the area. Pastures and rolling hills, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and just piece and quiet. We would definitely recommend you check out the property! Larraine was great to communicate with and very responsive to questions and requests. A joy to work with! One of our favorite of all out VRBO locations!

Family of the Bride

This clean and spacious house was able to accommodate 10 adults and an 2 month old for one of our daughter’s wedding. Port-a-crib was a surprise. Landry room off the kitchen was used more than expected. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the outside seating but the view was amazing and peaceful. It meant so much to have all our family under one roof. It was worth the drive! Would definitely stay there again!

When you pay $400+ for cleaning fees

When you pay a large amount to stay in a place for 9 days with an added more pricey than usual cleaning fees and you spend your first day cleaning up what the cleaners miss, kind of a problem. If this site would let me post pictures I would add them to my review but it does not. And I understand everyone has different cleaning standards but I think dusting the ceiling fans and tables usually come standard in the cleaning process one would think and maybe next time have the house cleaner hit the window seals cause the all had dead flies and moths in them

Great location to our niece’s wedding

Great space for us- 6 adults, 2 senior parents and two young boys 8 and 10. Kitchen is greatly equipped and paper products available throughout. The boys enjoyed the videos available, and we had enough seating for everyone. Bedding was comfortable, plenty of closet space, really appreciate the hangers. Fantastic views! We were less than two miles away from Flying Horse wedding venue, and a nice drive to groceries and restaurants. Would book this again, no doubt.

This home is amazing! It’s beautiful, well furnished, and far from the madding crowd (but close enough to still be convenient to everything). Laraine has thought of everything a person could possibly need, and more. Our family of 7 had an outstanding time, and I cannot recommend this home enough!!

Family get-together

We got together for a mini family reunion to celebrate a milestone birthday. The view was fantastic-and we enjoyed the serenity of the location. It was large enough for a group of 11 in the house and room for a member of our group to park his RV in the driveway. There were plenty of dishes, towels, and supplies. It was so nice that there were ziploc bags, plastic wrap and foil because we ate almost every meal at the house. Everything was very clean and the owner responded quickly to any inquiry. My family all agreed we should post a great review.

Everything worked as advertised and as expected. 3 bathrooms was a must for 10 people. That big garage took in our 2 rented 29ers and allowed us to explore the area in style. We loved the Kennedy open area. Trails there are perfect for blasting up or down. Then we explored the trails around Manitou and then we finished yesterday with a down hill run of 7000' drop off Pikes Peak ended at the Cheyanne trail heads. We road the road from the peak to Elk trail and 32 miles later all is great. Thanks for the family reunion in your Vrbo.

Very nice, clean house. Plenty of space and beds for all 10 of us. Could have easily slept 2 more. Very well stocked with kitchen essentials and bath towels. Would definitely stay again. It was about 40 min from the main attractions of Colorado Springs, but that didn't matter to us. We liked being a little out of the city and having space. Thanks for sharing your property with us!!

Immaculate home with gorgeous views

We were very pleased with this property. It was extremely clean and well stocked. We loved that it was a little outside of town and the neighborhood/area was beautiful. Lorraine was very friendly and responded promptly. We locked ourselves out on Christmas Eve and felt so bad about having to contact her, but she came out quickly and was beyond friendly. I have this property saved because we would definitely stay here again…it was beyond perfect!
