It brings to life that rare blend of modern luxury and mountain mystique only Colorado can provide. Add handcrafted sensibilities to this magazine-ready cabin and you're sure to fall in love. With nearby trails, quick access to local hot spots, and the ever-present Rampart Range viewable from the stylish deck, you can't miss The Baer's Den. Did we mention the hot tub?

Please read entirely so you have a good idea of what you are booking, as we will stick to our cancellation policy.

If you are interested in an early check in or late checkout, please inquire on the day of your booking. We would need to hire an additional cleaner for $150.

We are now accepting dogs! There will be dog bowls, bathroom bags, and a leash provided for you during your stay. Please be sure to include your pet in your guest list when booking. If not, upon arrival we will be immediately requesting the pet fee.

Please read the following rules for your furry friend:
-- To protect the wildlife in Cascade, we require your dog to be on a leash at all times when outside.
-- You must clean up after your pet outside and inside. If we find any pet poop around or in the property, you will be charged a $250 "pet poop pickup fee."
-- Please do not leave your pet unattended or alone in the house, unless crated.
-- Please do not allow your pet in the hot tub or on our furniture.
-- You are responsible if there is any damage to the property from your pet during your stay.

Pet Fees:
-- One night stay is $75
-- 2-7 night stay is $150
-- 8+ nights is $250
-- If bringing two pets, we do require an additional $50 to the pet fee.

Notes to take into account:
--October-May we can have snow storms. Please be aware you may need 4-wheel drive. Check the weather for Cascade-Chipita Park as it can be very different from Colorado Springs.
--We are also in a forest fire area, so fire bans may occasionally happen. The timing of this is out of our control. This may mean not being able to use certain fire features or our grill. We will try to let you know during your stay if there is high fire danger and what cannot be used.
--Baer's Den doesn't have A/C, but at this elevation you rarely need it! It stays much cooler at 7,800 ft and open windows at night keeps it comfortable.

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home! It was clean, modern, and cozy. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the mountain air was peaceful and relaxing. It’s close enough to many activities but nestled in a quiet mountain neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Perfect for a weekend getaway from the Denver area (but definitely wanted to stay longer!). The location is beautiful, the home is immaculate and cozy and there are wonderful things to explore in the area. I wouldn't change a thing!

Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing! The hosts were kind and helpful, the property was even more beautiful than the pictures, the cabin was well appointed, and the story of the cabin’s journey made the experience even more special. This Place is AWESOME

Quant cabin with all the amenities you could dream if. The cabin layout is awesome and most importantly the beds were so comfortable! I would say it is a pretty private place there are some neighbors mixed around but overall definitely a quiet peaceful retreat from the normal.city life. We will be back for sure!

Amazing Getaway

My wife and I absolutely loved this quiet, comfy, beautiful little Cabin! It was perfect for a few days to getaway and enjoy the mountains. We loved sitting out back on the deck drinking our coffee in the morning or nice glass of wine at night. My wife can be “picky” but she loved Jonathan and Kelly’s Baer Den! We will be back. Beautiful property. We stayed the beginning of July. Even with no air conditioning, it was nice and cool. Everything that we needed was there. The neighbors are close but there is a lot of trees for that extra privacy. Neighborhood is very quiet at night. Very peaceful. It is small but nicely remodeled. Perfect for two people.

Central located GEM!!

Loved our stay at Baers Den! Centrally located to so many things to do. Property is truly amazing. Such a quiet neighborhood, easy to get too… nice parking area. House is great, has everything needed. Hot tub was nice for a relaxing dip each evening. Loved the open concept kitchen/living room. Bedrooms perfect & both comfy. Shower was nice as well, complete with heated floors. This is a great get-away home close to it all. Thank you!!!

This cabin is so beautiful. The owners have done a wonderful job making sure the cabin is stocked with everything you need during your stay. My husband and I truly enjoyed staying here and definitely will stay here again. Its in a great location and close to all of the hot spots in Colorado Springs.

Great place for a quick getaway

The property was exactly as described, with an outdoor hot tub and indoor wood-burning fireplace. Whenever I contacted the owner, he responded almost immediately. The location is close to Colorado Springs and the many attractions there, along with two State Parks within 1/2 hour. The property itself is in a residential neighborhood, but the other homes were far enough apart that it felt very private, and there were plenty of trees around to add to that feeling! There was a very ample supply of firewood left for us inside, and a huge woodpile in the back. The owners also welcome guests with a very nice bottle of wine and some snacks. We enjoyed our stay very much! The only thing to be aware of is that the only fireplace tool available is a poker. It would have been helpful to have some fireplace tongs and maybe a small shovel, which I did ask the owner about, but that didn't take away from our enjoyment of the property.

Perfect rental cabin for a getaway

If your reading this, just stop and click book. There really isn't much bad to say about the cabin except maybe there's only one restroom? So unless you're there with a bunch of people, it shouldn't be a problem, also it's accessed from the great room so it's not an inconvenience. The cabin itself is well equipped with pretty much everything you need to just show up and hang. Pots, pans, utensils, oil, salt, pepper, other spices, coffee, tea, dish soap, laundry detergent, traeger full of pellets, and wood for the fireplace. I mean everything. Our hosts were also gracious enough pt leave a welcoming kit with snacks and wine. You can tell they really spent some time and effort remodeling this place for short term rentals. The design and the transformation is amazing. We would definitely return to this cabin in the future.

AMAZING Cabin

The owners thought of everything!!! From a nice bottle of wine to coffee with all the fixins. Very cozy and clean. Very well decorated making us feel right at home with all the modern amenities. What a beautiful home! My wife and I stayed at Baer's Den for our Colorado Springs getaway. We could not have stayed at a better spot. The Godsey's made everything from check in to check out a breeze and were very responsive to questions. Do yourself a favor, stop looking at the pictures and book the house. You will love it!
