PARKING
-There are two parking spots (1 garage space, 1 uncovered space) reached by an access road (like most homes in the area). The covered garage is small (opening is 8 feet wide by 6.5 feet heigh) and can accommodate sedans and crossovers, but larger vehicles may not fit. Parking on the street is only allowed during the day for three hours and you need to pay the meter.

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

The Tiger House was one of the best VRBO experiences I have ever had. The house was clean, comfortable, and the host thought of every detail to meet our needs. OSU Family Weekend

This was a great property for our immediate family during a weekend get-away to visit our OSU student. The accommodations had everything we needed and a wonderful and relaxing outdoor space. The proximity to High Street and other quaint neighborhood restaurants were walkable and campus was easily accessible. We would definitely consider this property for future visits.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at this property. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. All the rooms had very comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were clean, well-appointed, and stocked with fresh towels and amenities. The kitchen was great—fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking meals during our stay.The backyard was a real highlight, with plenty of space, a grill, a fire pit, and ample seating to relax and enjoy the evenings. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, yet still close to shops, restaurants, and local attractions.Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and welcoming. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped getaway.

Amazing

I want to start off by saying the Host was amazing. The property was better then expected and we loved our time at this home. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything you could need. The beds are very comfortable and you will get a great night's sleep.  I can not wait to stay again.
