Het Soaring Eagle Log Cabin biedt uitzicht op Lake Monroe.

Het Soaring Eagle Log Cabin kijkt uit op Lake Monroe. Slechts 50 voet van de waterlijn van de binnenwateren van het meer Soaring Eagle is een ontspannen en romantische plek om te zijn. Het uitzicht op het meer vanaf het dek of de hot tub is buitengewoon het hele jaar door. De rust van de afgelegen locatie is opvallend en zal je laten staan om "nog maar een paar dagen" te blijven.

Dit huisdiervriendelijke huis beschikt over een grote slaapkamer met een kingsize bed, een queensize Murphy-bed in de spellenkamer, 1 1/2 baden, een volledige keuken en een hot tub voor 4 personen. De gashaard in de woonkamer zorgt voor een romantische en ontspannende ervaring. Stap naar buiten op het dek voor een adembenemend uitzicht of ga naar de vuurplaats voor een beetje contact. Beweeg een beetje verder naar beneden en bevochtig een lijn in de hoop de "grote" te haken. De 42-inch flatscreen-tv in de woonkamer beschikt over een breed scala aan tv-kanalen. Wifi is ook hier, zodat je verbonden kunt blijven! Er is een speelkamer op een lager niveau met een pooltafel en een serre met uitzicht op het meer.

Wij bieden alle beddengoed, handdoeken, kookgerei en apparaten.

Dit is een zeer privélocatie en toch handig om Nashville of Bloomington te bereiken. Soaring Eagle ligt op slechts 27 km van Nashville, op 48 km van Columbus IN, op 27 km van Bloomington, waaronder Indiana University en op 13 km van Brown County State Park.

A stay on Monroe Lake

We stayed Friday and Saturday night to watch a football game at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. The cabin is in a beautiful secluded location on Monroe Lake and is surrounded by nature. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. During our stay the hot tub was not working but the owner agreed to take $50 per night off our bill. Please be advised that you must travel about six miles on a gravel road to reach this cabin. You must also be able to walk up several flights of stairs to get to it. It is not suitable for those who have any type of mobility impairment.

Cabin in the Woods

The cabin was very nice, unfortunately it was too far from where we needed to be every day. We rented it for an IU Graduation and had several late evenings. We checked out 2 days earlier than planned because we couldn’t do that drive through the woods late at night. This was totally our mistake.

We greatly enjoyed staying in this cabin. Springtime was a wonderful time to see all of the wildflowers and birds. The cabin exceeded all of our expectations. If you are looking for a remote spot in the woods to relax and enjoy nature; then this is it.

Anniversary Trip to Brown County

We were looking for a quiet, secluded place to stay that was pet friendly and included a hot tub. This spot checked off every box. We had a lovely time. It was clean and inviting, fully stocked with essential items and a fully stocked kitchen. There’s a Murphy bed and a pool table with a separate bathroom which is nice for additional privacy. The bed mattress is very lumpy and worn in but it gives that cabin feel you’re kind of looking for I think. Things I’d note to future guests: - Bring boots with good grip! It’s a steep drop down to the lake and if you have pets that need to go out it can be tricky! - Check the hot tub as soon as you arrive. We had a bit of a snafu with ours, it wasn’t functioning properly. But they were receptive and offered an easy solution to help us still use the hot tub during our stay. - The pet fee is $75 per pet. We weren’t able to locate that information on the listing, so I thought it’d be helpful to list here. Also, when the fee was processed, it was taxed. Just FYI.

We really enjoyed our week! We missed the full fall colors by a week or so but the area is still beautiful. Really enjoyed the fire pit and pool table. Hot tub wasn’t working but property management was quick to respond and gave a very generous partial refund to compensate us. Highly recommend if you’re looking for peace and quiet!

Cabin was nice. Clean, no issues at all. It is a gravel road drive to it, a decent length from town so it is isolated as described. I have a Toyota car that handled the road and driveway fine. Maybe could have issues on drive if it was super rainy or snowy but if not it’s not a bad drive.

The property is remote, about 4-5 miles off highway on gravel roads. But the setting is beautiful, and the facility is clean and well-kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property manager was responsive and helpful. I plan to return.

Lovely mid-week getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay at Soaring Eagle cabin on Lake Monroe. Extremely spacious cabin for two. Nice and far off the beaten path. Hot tub was great. Moondance staff was very responsive with a check-in issue that was dogging us the first day. Kept in touch and offered solutions. Very much appreciate that. We'll be back!

Overall favorable stay. Clean, spacious, well appointed, hot tub was wonderful, firepit was a big plus. Came to relax, get out of the city, and that we did. Fish weren't biting, and bird watching was less that expected, but mother nature is beyond our control. Did see more than a few deer wandering on their trail by the lake, and plenty of squirrels around. Only downside were the ants in the kitchen and the outdoor trashcans full on our arrival, but previous guests were likely to blame, not our host.

Anniversary get-away

My husband and I wanted to get to a lake for a longer weekend to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. This is just what we needed! We were able to bring our dogs - the house is setup very well for doggos! and unplug from the world for a few days in a great, quiet, and beautiful spot! We could see the lake from just about every room! We plan to go back!
